I do enjoy Pierre's energy and enthusiasm, but he needs to read more before making certain claims. Metropolitans in the Assyrian Church of the East are eligible to be Patriarchs. Mar Dinkha and Mar Gewargis were both metropolitans before being elected as patriarchs.
