First of all I will say you are only getting the surface of DC universe which you don't even understand. DC is way head in its story content then Marvel ever will on big screen. The second thing the content that DC has directors like Zack Snyder can do best with those content. Man of Steel and BvS is more like Art then the movie. The only mistake that Zack did while making any DC universe movie is that he thought that his audiences are smart and mature enough to understand how things work in the real world. Big directors like James Cameron , Christopher Nolan and many others had confessed that Zack Snyder movies are of the future we all learn the art of visualization from his movies. And it's even true. Man of Steel has the best Superhero flying scene ever done on big screen or ever will be done. His Batman is best Batman ever like that martha saving fight scene is he nailed perfectly. His heroes are can be truly put into real world rather than making joke about a serious situations like in Endgame. Wait for another 10 year and you will know what Zack did from Watchmen to Batman V Superman which no-one could have ever thought of this time.

Dc ke sath yahi hota hai 1 movie turning point hoti hai jiski vajah se bad me movies chalti nahi hai. Jaise Superman 1 acchi thi uske bad superman 2 me unhone changes kiye our waha se unka downfall chalu hua. Same Batman ke sath bhi hua Batman (1989) aur uske sequel ke bad unhone aage ke movies ke tone me change karke unhe funny banaya isliye aage Batman and Robin aur Batman forever Sabse Ghatiya Batman movie Mani jati hai. Iske bad V for Vendetta, Watchmen dark knight Trilogy Jaisi acchi movies aayi aur unhone Batman V Superman ke scenes delete karke aur Suicide Squad ki tone Ko production ke Baad change karke khud ke pav pe kulhadi mar di. Aur jaise ki hame pata hai accha Kam koi nahi dekhta bas ek galti kar do sab tokte hai waise hi BvS theatrical version aur Suicide Squad ki vajah se DC Ko aaj bhi log troll karte hai.
