Iwan Rheon reads Fidel Castro's speech History Will Absolve Me.
We believe what changes opinion, changes narrative, changes momentum, are words. Words crafted from genuinely big ideas, delivered through deft structure by inspirational women and men, wherever a meaningful audience can be found. By exploring some of the world’s most vital speeches we want to remember what leadership sounds like, through speeches which have carved a path through our history by changing hearts and minds.

The fact that the Nobel Peace Prize was not awarded to Cuban doctors this year is an injustice of the highest order.

I would agree, but that implies that the Nobel peace prize wasn't already a complete farce. Love or hate Obama, he was given a peace prize despite invading 7 counties and ordering an airstrike that killed another Nobel peace prize recipient. It would be unfair to put all of that at his feet since the US is a plutocracy ruled by the rich and Military Industrial Complex, but still, it is rather damning evidence that the Nobel peace prize is a farce.

Absolutely phenomenal, thank you so much for doing the absolutely wonderful revolutionary man that was Fidel Castro, justice. I can assuredly say that this further reminded me that history certainly did absolve him. Fantastic acting, and fantastic delivery. Great job man. Viva Fidel! Viva la revolucion! @@kandimallakotaiah4601 I ask people to do the same thing for me, and everyone has so many different things to say. He’s an icon and a hero to some, but to some more (Cubans *seem* to think this ->) he’s an anti-peace tyrant. When you do learn about him use scrutiny and discretion. Hasta la victoria siempre Commandante. Your mortal husk may have died but your ideas will live on for a thousand years. Wherever the people find themselves disenfranchised YOU ARE THERE, wherever the downthrodden find themselves ground down by the machinations of capitalism YOU ARE THERE, wherever men and women struggle for dignity, freedom and the most basic human rights YOU ARE THERE.
