Ian Bishop has a great eye for spotting precocious talent. He himself was a great fast bowler whose career was cut short by injury.

During early days of Bumrah, Ian Bishop very minutely studied his methods and the skills in the armoury and spoke very highly of Jasprit while doing commentary and that's when I actually started to follow Bumrah's spell of bowling across all formats. I guess it takes one to know one.

India no longer has to look abroad for fast bowling inspiration: Kapil, Srinath, Prasad, Zaheer, Munaf, Sreesanth, RP Singh, Ishant, Umesh, Shami, Bhuvi, Siraj and the best of the lot Bumrah. All fine bowlers who served India and inspired.
