In November 2003, Pacquiao had given the chance to prove that he was a better fighter against the "Baby - Faced Assassin" Mexican icon Marco Antonio Barrera. Their first fight was the one that launched him into superstardom after he beaten badly Barrera that first time happened on extraordinary career of Barrera. Pacquiao was the smaller coming up in weight facing the more experienced fighter in this fight.

First time I saw Pacquiao fight was against Barrera. Immediately I thought, why the heck did he choose to fight Barrera. Barrera is good. This Pacquiao is going to get hurt. I was scared for him. He surprised me. I couldn't believe my eyes. I became a fan somewhere in the middle of the fight. Real ring warrior and a very humble individual.

Peace be with you.. Since you mentioned about race I shared with you that gratefulness from his achievements as a Filipino. In addition of that Pacquiao's bloodline is of that warrior PINTADOS of VISAYAS aka the vikings like race of ancient Philippines or pre spanish era because this pintados of Visayas daringly raided the coastal areas of ancient CHINA and even captured the chinese people as slaves. Historically, It was the BISAYA people that was first tamed by spaniards and used the bisaya warriors to capture Luzon and Mindanao. If you notice Philippines is mostly represented by Bisaya people in almost every aspect of competition such contact sports, beauty pageant or art/singing etc yet look down by other tribes of Phil. Honestly if you look around their is always a humble bisaya in every part of Phil and even dominated the language in Phil more than tagalog. Even foreign youtubers will venture in the visayas area because most of OFWs are bisaya speaking and strategic for monetary views coming from different countries. If you look the real population of bisaya speaking people in Phil. And not just in Phil Bisaya people are also widespread throughout the world just like their ancestors. Bisaya people are strong mighty people, but most of all Bisaya people are God fearing, kind, loyal and humble. Loyal to be unified under the name of Filipino and loyal and patient to be unified with other Phil tribe despite the stereotyping of bisaya people. How I wish that one day their will be no racial identification, no racial hatred through out the world instead just one human race. No borders no indifference no clans no tribes no greediness and fighting over resources and space, instead just pure sharing between, brotherhood sisterhood and responsible use of resources for everyone.. A wonderful world like heaven or paradise..no wars and hatred..only love

I will always remember this fight. I was on the fourth floor of my apartment watching on tv and I could hear all around me, the screams of my neighbors as Pacquiao began his beatdown of Barrera. Though we could not see each other, we would all yell and scream in unison.

Saw the slip,the knock down favor to Morales but realize his mistake Morales looked at him for more favors ha ha ha referee realized his mistakes got rigid . No more no more!! Ignored Morales complain! Manny ignored the ugly treatment focused on the fight! At the enterview he said he remains fumble down to earth! Humility transparency and lots of smiles!! What else not to admire and love this beautiful person. May you be the son of God throughout! Bless to your wife and kids
