PART 2: kzfaq.infoivRZQIczAzM (TY FOR 10 MILLION!!! + CORRECTIONS BELOW) Don't forget to leave a like if you enjoyed this video, and subscribe if you want to see more of this sort of content! CORRECTIONS: 1. It was important of me to have said that Cleopatra was Macedonian Greek - not just Greek. 2. By today's standards, she may not be described as 'beautiful' as she is in the dialogue here. However, as many of you have pointed out, her intelligence and charisma are what made her attractive. 3. As far as skin colour/ethnicity goes - Cleopatra is known to have come from a long line of inbreeding, such was the norm for the Ptolemies. However, due to an intermarriage with the Macedonian Greek Seleucid Dynasty, there was an influence of Persian and Sogdian Iranian Ancestry. This means she was likely neither black nor white, and more of an 'olive' skin tone. This is obviously a subject of intense debate, i'm not suggesting what I say here to be 100% accurate - that's why I didn't focus on skin colour and I only refer to it as what is 'likely' or 'unlikely' based on the general consensus among historians! Thanks again for watching, If any of you have any additional information to add i'm always happy to read the comments!

Not just simply smooth but one of the best at it ever. Which is also backed by how she got Caesar himself on her side. Simpletons will argue that Caesar was only drawn to her because of her beauty but that wasn't Caesar. It would've had to be her personality that seduced one of the best strategist in history.

Fun fact: It's very possible that Cleopatra has descendants alive today. After her death, Cleopatra's children were taken to Rome and ultimately placed in the care of Octavia, who was Marc Antony's wife. Octavia was said to be a noble and humane woman. Despite Cleopatra having had a very open affair with her husband, Octavia made sure that Cleopatra's children were educated and found them places in high society. Her daughter married the king of Numidia and had children. Several generations of her descendants are documented and some scholars speculate that Zenobia of Palmyra may have been among Cleoaptra's descendants. Her descendants regularly married people outside of their own ethnicity and moved from country to country, meaning her descendants could be scattered all over the world.

A crazy fact as well... Marc Anthony held a splendid party for her. Every dish served was better or more extravagant than the one previous. Cleopatra wasn't impressed and said she could have something worth way more. She asked for a cup of vinegar then put one of her Pearl earrings in it. It dissolved and she drank it. There's a painting of the party.

Dont listen to the people saying she wasn't pretty. Her father had many, many daughters and chose the prettiest as his favorite, to let her have the best of the best. Which is why she was so talented, she was literally groomed into being perfect

Fun fact: Alexander the Great was actually from Macedonia, now called North Macedonia, located right above Greece. And no, it is NOT part of Greece. Greece took a part of Macedonian land a while back. Alexander the Great was actually called Alexander the Macedon. He was the former king of Macedonia.

Ok actually, she did not kill herself with an asp. This is quite long be warned. She actually was captured and imprisoned in her chambers after an invasion of Egypt. Now, she had a maid in there right? Events leading up to this; So she was in love with what’s his face who stabbed himself with a sword. Why? BECAUSE THE POSTAL SERVICE SUCKED THATS WHY. Basically, someone sent her a message saying he was dying, so she got all depressed. Then some IDIOT send that guy a letter saying Cleopatra was dead. That idiot was traveling to see her even in death and just stabbed himself. Then he got another letter saying “ignore last letter, she is NOT dead do NOT stab self with sword” so now he had to travel again and he got to cleopatra, died in her arms, cleopatra was trapped in her chambers. And her maid took a poison from a plant along the Nile and put it on the tip of a pointy golden hairpin. They both died. The asp thing is a rumor from Shakespeare’s play Hamlet Yes I am an Egypt nerd, how did you know? I bet no one will like this or even read it 🙃🙃
