Landing your initial flick shot is ideal, but it's impossible to hit every single one of them. This is why you need to train your micro-motions, the key to hitting more headshots.

Ron, can you make a video on how correct a bad habit espeacially if you practiced the wrong stuff.For example, I used to practice focusing on the crosshair very hard, thinking that it would help me get back my aim faster. When I realised it was ineffective, I struggle to break out of it. Every time i tried tried to break out of it, I subconciously go back to focusing on the crosshair too much which distracts me from hitting the target im trying to hit.I have tried breaking this habit but no avail. It woud be very helpful if you can make a video about this :)

Play without crosshair for a few days in dm and aim servers (cl_Crosshairalpha 0), it will give you a good feel of center of your screen, but you will still have to look at what you want to shoot.

Not sure if you ever talked about it before but if not, what is your opinion on mouse acceleration (Povohat/Raw Accel) I've recently been trying to get back into Valorant and whatever sens I choose I either can't do proper 180s or have huge troubles being somewhat accurate on longer ranges so it feels like mouse accel is my only option here

I have a doubt. o/ in CS: GO you have your normal sight, the AWP sight and the AUG sight, are different senses, right? Do you need muscle memory for each one? Thanks for your work.
@heyitsskie
@heyitsskie 3 жыл бұрын
Yes you’d need to learn more than one, typically this is why awpers can struggle with other guns because the sensitivity is different and why u notice some riflers whiff with awp because they rely on their muscle memory to flick but it’s slightly off since the fov changes and u can never have a perfect 1 to 1 scope and unscope aim sens

"One of the questions asked is ... why do you need a wiggle?" Because you're playing a 3D game on a 2D screen, and that has inherent issues which interfere with consistent aim - makes impossible, really. This is mathematically provable. It depends on a few factors, but essentially the farther your target is away from the center of the screen, the more "inaccurate" the mouse movement will be. This lends an advantage to micro-corrections (or wiggling), especially at 0% MDV and 0% MDH (monitor distance vertical/horizontal). Creates a lot of minor/hidden issues when switching from/to a 2D game like OSU! (or Windows Desktop).
