ABOUT THE ARMOR
The MARK 85, also known as the MARK LXXXV is Tony Stark’s 85th, and final edition of the notorious Iron Man armor. After Thanos destroyed The MK85's predecessor, the MARK L; Stark put together the MARK 85, along with thirty-four other suits. This collection was built during the five-year period between Avengers Infinity Wars & Endgame. The suit utilizes nanotechnology, which grants Stark immense versatility and efficiency. The Mark 85 is Stark’s greatest work yet. Not because it is an amalgamation of all the awesome features of its predecessors. But because its sole purpose is to stop Thanos in his tracks.
STATUE DESIGN
The Queen Studios’ Mark 85 is a 1:2 scale recreation of Starks ultimate, advanced armor. We’ve chosen a ‘battle-ready' pose as it demonstrates the MARK 85’s superb intricate design. Iron Man is stood atop of debris, he is facing forward, his right knee raised. His forearms facing up, as if he has landed and is ready for battle. The armor employs the classic red and gold color scheme, with the addition of some silver panels. The bottom of the base reflects the plinth used for the time heist in Endgame.
SPECIAL FEATURES
To make Queen Studios’ interpretation of the MARK 85 as honest as possible. Our design team have added two special features to this 1:2 scale statue. The first is the addition of three light fixtures. One in each of the eyes and another in the chest’s arc reactor. The second is the addition of six energy-absorbing panels on the back of the suit. During the Battle of Earth in Avenger Endgame. Stark and Potts absorb power from Thor’s Lightning to blast Thanos a total of eight times, all at once. These features together, create a piece that will stand out in any collection.
