As a total railway system integrator, Hitachi develops and manufactures trains for use all across the globe, including the Japanese bullet train and UK’s Intercity Express Programme (IEP). Its mother factory, Kasado Works, is situated in Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan. Let’s find out how trains are built there! In Part 1, we will walk you through our rigging factory.

@@simhopp They do you jackass! some of you people think Japan is some kind of paradise. Theres a lot of social pressure there and it is starting to affect Japan badly such as the loss of job security and insane working hours. Young people are unable to afford homes which has also affected the population growth to dangerous levels. Japan has the oldest population of any developed country. So don't expect Japan to be "homogenous" as it is now for too long.

@@clemhfandango. yet in Japan there is multiple choice of works that distribute to decrease the unemployment rate and keep the stability of the society by the way I've never heard that young generation has difficulty to buy himself I've never heard that even though I am native there would you teach me about that?

Kon'nichiwa! I'm designing an information system for IEP trains in the UK as my final year project in university. I would really like the idea to work and I'm currently in the process of putting together a business case to later pitch to our board of directors and Santander. Is there anyone I can speak to about manufacturing and shipping to the UK - I need to calculate/estimate production costs

Well, it probably was originally made for young children who are interested in trains. They made it simple for a simple audience, particularly young boys. That's why there are even cartoon pictures between scenes. This isn't so surprising. Take what you can learn from it. There are certainly other videos for adult audiences about train construction to be found if you look around a little more on the site.
