Welcome to another episode of The Floating Home. This time we make our way towards Nanthwhich and stop for a spontaneous towpath breakfast, Lauren leaves the boat for a weekend leaving Adam & Shanti to reminisce about their travels prior to living on the boat, and we start to prepare the boat for the upcoming winter!

Shanti is just gorgeous, he really is. We have a working cocker. She’s called Juno. Aren’t they just gorgeous dogs? Juno will be moving onto a narrow boat in the spring 😀 x

That information board at the lock will have been telling you about the not so secret war bunker that is now a visitor attraction, we visited several years back, it was interesting and worth the visit.

Oh really! That’s cool.. so the bunker was there as they anticipated war so for people to hide

@@thefloatinghome17 it's a massive secret underground military bunker, it was incase of nuclear war and was not for the masses, it was for strategic personnel only, it was operational until the 1980s. Its called Hack Green Secret Bunker if you want to look it up

Hello You Three - greetings from Poland A lovely cruise towards Nantwich through the county I was brought up in. A fascinating story about your 3-year hitchhike to Asia. What an adventure! I think i'm going to show someone your stove... they have a small fake stove, that occupies a small space in their restaurant/bar. Maybe this will persuade them to think about replacing it.

Please keep these coming, it's great to see the great Cheshire countryside from the canal, as well as see how much you love it, and the boat. What work do you do, and does the boat (and connections etc) create any major challenges?

Thanks Simon! The Cheshire countryside has blown us away! Every lifestyle has its challenges of course but often it’s your mindset towards the challenges that matters more. Will definitely be making videos to answer some of the questions you’ve asked here!

It is perfectly fine to feed bread to ducks and other wildfowl. Just don't over do it. There is a "slight" possibility of health issue in younger birds, if fed too much bread Similar to humans and their "HUGE FRY UP" .... yes it can be bad for you, but having it "once in a while" is ok Love watching these Canal Vids. Just wish I had the funds to join you guys on the cut

Really curious about your engine. Is there some pictures or videos showing it? How much fuel do you keep on board ? How much does it use per hour? Thanks.
