@@jeffkuntz8543 well here is what I did know? Hitler was an Austrian by nationality and not German. Germany annexed Austria in 1938, and then Austria became part of the Third Reich. And that Arnold was Austrian by nationality. What I didn't know was that Arnold's father faught on the German side during WW2. That he was sent to the Eastern front and saw action near Leningrad. Was badly wounded (probably by Russian artillery fire?). He survived the war. Became a total alcoholic. Arnold had a tough life growing up with his father. Arnold's father was a war veteran and an alcoholic. He was not the Terminator!!!! (Lol).

Arnold's father was also a policeman after the war. He was lucky to survive. Most of the surviving German soldiers were taken prisoner and sent to work camps hundreds of miles away. They were not released after the war but expected to work until they died. This happened to the brother of a friend. He came down with cancer and they turned him loose because he was no more use to them. Sick as he was he walked the long distance home. Had it not been for the kindness of strangers who fed and sheltered him he would not have made it. By the time he got home he looked like a walking skeleton. The dogs recognized him before his family. He died in his own bedroom he had left so many years before.

@@serahloeffelroberts9901 , very sad story😔. After the war many Nazis and German soldiers were put on trial for war crimes. Some got the death sentence, while others were sent to POW camps. The unlucky ones were those the Russians captured. Most of them never made it home. However the Western Allies sent their German POWs mostly to Great Britain, Canada and the USA. Those camps were much better run than the Russian ones. Many of those soldiers were later released. And a considerable amount of them did not go back to Germany, but chose to stay in those countries and start a new life and family. The Italian POWs however? Were mainly sent here to South Africa where I live. One of the Major psychiatric hospitals here, used to be an Italian POW camp. They practically built that entire hospital. You can actually also see their Stone masenary done in the shape of wild animals. And a small Chappell (church) they built. Many of them also settled here in South Africa. My late grandmother was friends with a former Italian POW soldier. His name was Carlo. I met him when I was a young boy.

@@PureFPSPwnage Hmm . . . maybe find a way to submit a link to it to the hosts of late nite talk shows -- Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon, etc. -- and maybe if they have Arnold on their show as a guest they could show a bit of the clip, just to gauge his reaction to it. Jay Leno used to have a way for people to send jokes (etc.) to him, which he might use on-the-air, so maybe something along those lines.

Actually I think they may have done, it's what makes the references ironically and bl(e)ackly amusing. I haven't heard the term 'black humo(u)r' used for many years That's probably a good thing, but a new term for the style of humour needs to be coined because it is a legitimate usage. Mel Brooks was a master of it while he was active in comedy and filmmaking and never failed to make people laugh while also forcing them to question their prejudices. This parody forces me to do the same thing. It may also do the same for others. Clever comedy and editing. I personally salute it.
