Hey Freeze. Theres a more consistent way to do Rangan. Take the same route except instead of going and electrifying him in the bathroom, let him go upstairs to the mole. Right as you enter the same floor as the mole there is a container to stash bodies with a screwdriver ontop. Right next to this is a watercooler with an electrical outlet. (waggles eyebrows) .Use the screwdriver on the electrical outlet on the floor next to the watercooler FIRST. Then poke the cooler and run away quick (or become nice and electrified) and go and hide out of line of the guards vision. Shoot a silenced pistol on a wall somewhere to alert the guards. (i suggest the wall opposite from the TV) This breaks his "interrogate mole" cycle and he walks directly over the watercooler puddle. Listen in sweet joy as Rangan utters the dumbest "electrified" sound ever and move on with your life.

The people who make the game will go to the actual location where the level is based to get a feel for the place and take loads of pictures for reference, so it looks real.

Yeah I thought first part was bugged or some. It kept distracting the guy that was 30 feet away from the sink & not the target, when the target was right next to it. But I end up getting it. Great vid.👌

Been trying the first part for hours, doesn’t work. I enter and do all the stuff in the exact same time, but the target doesn’t get distracted by sink, another person in the room does. Edit: I just found out that the method doesn't work anymore because IOI introduced a patch which broke distraction and spotting mechanics. It's not the video's fault. So if you are having difficulties completing this challenge, it may be related to this. Thanks Freeze, for responding so quickly.

Because last Tuesday they broke the audio distractions and spotted mechanics. It's been acknowledged and will be fixed in the next patch. It's not my fault or the videos for this reason

i followed him upstairs, used the nearby screwdriver on the plug near the water cooler and shot the cooler with silenced pistol as Dawood passed, i recommend saving before hand incase you miss

Well it's been a month and it still hasn't been patched. A woman always investigates the sink. Had to knock Rangan out and drag him into the bathroom.

For me (on professional) I shot the plug next to the person watching TV and as Rhanghan walks by shoot the water cooler. For Maelstrom walks in a different direction than the video and is the only character walking by your hiding spot, I just threw the battery in the puddle between the hiding spot and the sewer

I just spent a few hours today playing and beating Mumbai and it was very challenging-and took multiple tries and reloads-and very rewarding at the end. THANK YOU VERY MUCH for posting your walkthroughs-I leaned on them heavily-I used three different videos and closed my three contracts three different ways: I killed the Maelstrom Sweeney Todd style in the barber shop, I garroted Yanya Shah as the tailor with the tape measure, and I lured Dawood Rangan into the art studio so the other sniper could make his kill. I figured that out with another video, otherwise I would of done it sooner after the photoshoot on the roof. Again, thanks so much for the videos.

Thanks for the location on the Maelstrom. I used the colored smoke puddle method to get the other two electrocutions. Then followed your tutorial for the Maelstrom. Picked up some map pointers as well. cheers

I'm having issues where when you throw the car battery into the puddle it doesn't give me the challenge. Do you have to not kill anyone else?

In Hitman 3 Dawood didn't seem to work for me, I tried it 4 or 5 times and every time the stage crew guy got distracted by the tap even though he's further away than Dawood so I just knocked Dawood out and dragged him to the puddle in the end. I got spotted straight away on the Shah one as well I think it was one of the guys on the roof so might be a good idea to subdue all the guys on the roof if you're going for SA.

I electro'd Rangen with socket on 4th floor and then got Shah and Maelstrom with car batteries. Car battery is the ole faithful in the game.

You can put the tazer in the water where Vanya washes her face and shock her there.

The malestroem i eliminated the same way you did. Rangan I killed by manipulating the socket on the floor, waited for him to come near the socket and opens the water tank, that’s standing just next to the socket. Because I didn’t had the teaser with me I took the second Auto battery and threw it into Vanyas pool :b so similar too the way you did it , but no teaser necessary😊

This challenge is really easy, actually its a good one for silent assassin suit only on master, for rangan tower, I took out cameras because i play on master first, then I went to top floor, and coined a guard away and made another take a weapon away, i opened the water tank and exposed the wire in socket he walks over. then retraced my steps, I dropped a proximity tazer from the roof area into the pool for the slum queen after turning the pool back on, and did exactly the same as you for the maelstrom.

Thanks, MrFreeze2244! Can confirm: yeeting the proximity taser at Vanya Shah's head *only knocks her out,* and does not electrocute her. Also, I had a hard time getting Dawood to investigate the leaky faucet, because that crew person kept coming in instead. I finally ko'd the worker, dragged her into the corner of the bathroom, and then took out Dawood when his guard was putting the uzi away. I had to sacrifice Silent Assassin rating.

Second the screwdriver on wire near watercooler then shoot watercooler! That worked for me as of Aug 2021. You know, in case anyone is late to the party like me and would like confirmation. I shall continue to follow the video now!

Again Freeze...new to the game! I couldn't find a way to get the first guy in that little room with the timing. But if you get a guard in there and put on a guard uniform, you go down to the movie set and get a screwdriver. Go up to the fourth floor where the game is on and take the screwdriver to the electrical cord on the floor and then stab the water cooler. Ranigan is the first one killed. Don't even need the battery.

Yeah this on professional was a pain in the rear. The movie producer I ended up having to go upstairs and break the Circuit and shoot water cooler as he stood near it the window was small The other two same as this nearly. Only tad difference was third one, the guard on bottom roof floor I took out and hid near the pipe you climb to get to roof. This was helpful guide

The reason why everyone becomes an enforcer after an electrocution kill is because they’re just so....... shocked. Realistically they probably screwed something up with the animation. If I had to guess someone was lazy and programmed it so that the animations that “kill” all cause the same level of threat until the NPC is eliminated.

LOL! And I went searching all over for a screwdriver. Turns out, there's a square in the middle of that room along with a storage bin for two bodies. Right there on one of the boxes is a screwdriver!

You can also get one in the electronics repair shop (the one with all the headphones on display on the sidewalk)

3:41 That don is is no longer reacting to the tap overflow, that idiot crew sitting on sofa is reacting. So after 1 hour long attempts, I finally killed him in the floor above by sabotaging electic device and then shooting the water can.

Just an fyi in Ragan tower there is an area near the shoot that has a large shallow fountain with a bunch of chandeliers above it. If you drop the chandelier it will hit the water and electrocute anyone standing in the fountain

Dam I’m on casual and there’s no fucking way to sneak up all those stairs to Rangars bathroom without alerting guards. I’m playing this in Hitman3 so they might have changed things with the AI. They are definitely more alert. Managed to get in and hide in the bathroom with minimal alerts. When things calmed down I ran into other problems. Ragnar would not check on the running water and if I used coins he’d send in someone else to check. I found a work around by accident. The closet was already full of bodies so the third one I had to leave on the floor. Rangar was near his desk and when I opened the door he saw the body and finally came in the bathroom.

I couldn't for the life of me get the Maelstrom in the alley using puddles... so I brought in the ICA electrocution phone, started in the forge, placed the phone right in front of him and electrocuted him at my leisure. I also used the water cooler on the floor of the tower with the mole... if you wait to puncture the water cooler until Rangan is standing talking to the guard watching TV, he investigates the disturbance rather than any of the guards (and on casual if you crouch he doesn't see you puncture the cooler)

There's a small puddle right by the tea shops where the Maelstrom goes and catches up with his informant lady who owns the shop carts. At first, I tried causing an oil leak on the scooter he leans up against, but that wasn't working. But then I saw the puddle he misses by just _barely_ some inches. It took a couple of tries, but I finally got him zapped.

I keep trying this and its always this woman with a pink cap on that gets distracted by the overflowing sink, NEVER Rangan!! Grrrrrr! She just seems to appear from nowhere and theres nowhere to take her out unseen or hide her body anywhere!!

I love that I managed to fuck up the first electrocution kill so that I was seen but I managed to escape and make up enough time to be at the same time you are for the last kill

Turns out you can't electrocute the Maelstrom in the sewer where the birdsuit actor pukes. All water spots where you would think to get him don't shock. Car battery or taser! So stupid.
