This is my 2nd shot at creating review/ deep dive into games which I like, this was a massive project for me, spanning 5 weeks, I hope you enjoy it and there will be more like it, it just will take time (of course). Please leave any comments about the video in the comments section, I always read them. But this video and the one before are me taking massive steps out of my comfort zone of content to make and I loved making it, so I will be making more so once again, thank you and I hope you enjoy the video.

I have over 500 hours in Hitman 3, and 100 each in Hitman 2 and 1. Even though I'm at the point where I know a lot of the secrets about this game, I'm STILL finding new things. I can even watch a gameplay video where the person is very new and making mistakes left and right with me screaming at the screen, but then they'll go through a window that I never knew you could go through.

This is a very insightful video. I just got into the Hitman series about a month ago and it's all I play now. I just put over 100 hours into Hitman 2016 and just started Hitman 2 a couple days ago. I will get Hitman 3 when it drops on Steam this Friday. I feel like these games will keep me busy for a long time. Best level design I've ever seen.

I get what you mean about reskins of poison, but I think IOI were trying to give us the ability to take in 3 of either injectable or ingestible or every kind (lethal, emetic, and sedative) as that - 3 - is the max amount you can take in, 2 on your person and one smuggled in. But for the rest of the video it is done very well, and is very informative.

I haven't even watched the video yet, but I gotta say, Hitman is one of my all time favorite games. No contest. Now even moreso with Freelancer being an infinite content generator allowing my to flex my knowledge of the franchise, its locations, mechanics and unintentional quirks. Sometimes I get so overwhelmed by how much I like it I have to stop playing and tell someone about it. It's so deep and broad with such a seemingly simple concept. Last year I put 1800 hours into the WoA trilogy, mainly in Freelancer. I'm about to fire it up as soon as I finish this comment.

I constantly appreciate the beauty of each map, each map has very unique atmospheres, some are events, others are situations, hospitals, hotels, big villages or city based. Each map has different day times and sky boxes making you really appreciate not only the cover art of locations on the destination screen but the overall foreign atmosphere. Another thing i like is the futuristic aspects of hitman, sapienza bio lab in comparison to its realistic Italian world, futuristic hospital in comparison to its hotel aspect area of hokkaido, beautiful but also poor economic look to chongqings city area vs its clean ica facility hidden from the world. Even locations like colorado work because it gives you a difficulty and tactical feel or hawkes bay which makes you feel like jack reacher tv show aswell as given off that movie atmosphere. Last thing, i really like the author level in sapienza, gives you a night time version of sapienza but it isn't pitch black like berlin, its got a nice blue night feel with the dark blue sky and white moon. Hitman 4 needs to do this again, give us a Canada location or a Mexico location, also i live in Plymouth which is next to dartmoor, if they made a location in Plymouth that would have been awesome maybe the mall and royal parade.

I think the main reason for all the reskins in items is so that you can unlock basically the same item for whatever you want to do because most items can be essential for certain missions or challenges

I would like to see a continuation of his story he has progressed so much and has come so far to redeem himself and break away from the strings that were being pulled on him and Diana I want to see him become a new more cooler and far more badass version of himself; he will always be the Agent 47 we know and love but I for one would like to see a new iteration of him becoming a Suave sophisticated vigilante type of character that is using his deadly skills to help protect the innocent from the evil-doers, like what was said before he did not give up his skills and ability of killing but he's going on a New Direction with it in the fact that he's going to hunt those that are truly evil in the world like the constant so I for one I'm looking forward to the new chapter of Agent 47 becoming The Equalizer in this unique and creatively well-written video game universe with the possibility of a crossover being done with the James Bond video game that their currently developing.

🇮🇳🙏 *LONG COMMENT (warning)IN APPRECIATION FOR HITMAN TRILOGY* Hitman games from 2016 to 2021 are my all time fav games ever personally even as a hardcore hitman fan from old days I didn't find much to nitpick in them. It's a miracle how after all the developement issues these games still hold quality (some inconsistencies yes like the rushed cutscenes in hitman 2018 but even then the narrative was so good and still picture cutscenes did good job)and ended on a high note with the third and most recent hitman 3 even having a great story. And plus... All of it you can play in vr now. Graphics.. look great and with ray tracing it looks immaculate now esp. the china level. Also.. mild spoiler but the very first e3 trailer from 2015 for first Hitman season is basically the end of hitman 3 showing all upcoming locations and targets and the trailer ends with Diana saying.. it's good to have u back. Also theres a cool hidden ending which will blow your mind if you've played hitman c47 like me the very first game of series. Hitman isn't even supposed to compete with other games on basis of guns/ cars/ effects explosions etc yet cyberpunk looks trash even compared to hitman. Graphically speaking, cybertrash ain't got shit on Hitman's Berlin and china level for eg. The real meat of hitman is NPC / target characters and world stories especially the dialogue and replayability. the amount of hidden dialogues is impeccable in these hitman games. I don't think it's even possible to hear everything from every scenario you can create and that's not even counting the scripted story stuff you hear in mission opportunities. The dialogue here is the stuff of legend in the whole gaming I'd say. We praise writing for tlou or uncharted and things like that but story telling here is so different. And so immediate. For eg comments on how NPCs after waking up from a knockout say and even change dialogue based upon whether or not they witnessed you before being knocked out, whether they remember you, what disguise you wearing, who are they detailing your info to? Is it a guard or a fellow NPC , the NPCs will describe your illegal actions to guards surprisingly in a very detailed and varied way, guards will taunt you and command you to drop various items by their names while trying to arrest you and even alert others if you try to shoot with empty gun, NPCs even will even have a funny comment if they realize you're wearing their clothes after knocking them out and they're naked. then there's gunpoint/ getting shot dialogue, subdue dialogue, nps commenting on your disguise and even noticing things like if you're wearing a too hot of an outfit on a sunny day or a different/ whacky suit that has no context to the location you're playing in, all elusive targets have their own backstories and that content most people never dive into that extensively. Infact content of elusive targets may now be forever lost and all of it never felt like a side / low effort chore. It all had its own briefing videos, own voice acting, own stories, own character moments with targets and had the same attention and care as the main missions from the main game. Then there's so many "hidden" dialogues for eg in the 2016 the landslide mission, after killing Marco abiatti his bodyguard will go to the tower to his colleagues and be sad about how he couldn't save his boss and he'll be fired again which will make things difficult for him and his pregnant wife. Just the sheer amount of backstory details in these new hitman games is quite simply ridiculous. The dialogue frankly to me seems endless. Like is said, It's literally impossible to have heard everything for every scenario in these games.

I recently started playing Hitman. I really love it. But I think its replayability is quite overstated. Once I’ve explored each level and figured out how it works, I feel little reason to go back. The game doesn’t give nearly as much freedom to complete objectives as you first think. It’s deceptively shallow. It’s like Shadow of the Colossus or Portal. The fun is in figuring out what to do. You can only do that once, after that it’s just not that much fun. But Shadow of the Colossus and Portal have great story/dialog/setting which is fun to experience many times over. Hitman’s story/dialog/setting is really forgettable, definitely not worth going back for.

@Anna-kz7km 5 ай бұрын
A lot of people have sunk hundreds and even around a thousand hours playing this game (from what I see the majority is at least 200+ hrs in) so most players definitely find the replayability to be genuinely high. I don’t get why you say it’s shallow when there are so many different routes you can take to get to your target and a ton of unique killing methods, some of them are hard to figure out how to pull it off but once you manage to do it it feels super satisfying (like that obscure af hammer and sickle kill of Zoe Washington in Isle of Sgail, took me so many tries to figure out how to start from the basement and go all the way to the Constant Office in the highly suspicious burial robes without getting spotted, it’s difficult but that’s what makes it so fun) . KZfaqrs like Game Maker’s Toolkit and Leadhead have made videos discussing this exact topic and they did a good job explaining this (better than me lol). WildGold’s newest video titled “The Best Hitman Map, That No One Seems to Play?” shows super in depth the different possible approaches to get into restricted area (madlad literally labelled all the routes according to how safe they are plus guards placement on a map), should be enough to prove the level design is anything but shallow
@Elektrokardiogramm
@Elektrokardiogramm 3 ай бұрын
The game has a ton of replayability. Each destination usually has 75+ challenges to complete and most targets have so many ways of assassinations. Silvio Caruso, for example, can be eliminated with a planted exploding golf-ball, a cannon shot to his plane after he starts evacuating, a pillow smothering during a therapy session, a dropped propane flask down a fireplace, lethal poison from his dinner, a push off a cliff after emetic poison from his dinner, a sniper shot through a telescope lense, and a suspended solar system model, among many other dynamic opportunities throughout the level. And that's just one of two targets plus a secondary objective for that mission. Granted, I was a bit disingenuous as Sapienza is the largest and deepest destination by quite a bit in the trilogy, but still. The game had a lot to offer before Freelancer was introduced.
