My favourite part is when you have to escape the ICA underground facility, the atmosphere there is phenomenal!

I personally found the streets of this map to be quite relaxing., The quiet night, glowing signs, deserted streets and soft patter of rain mixed with the heavenly angelic score created a calm and peaceful atmosphere to me. (Though I can definitely understand the creepiness when it comes to the places the targets hide in.)

When the strings and organ kick in, it's just so overwhelming. This is one of my most favorite soundtracks from the entire trilogy. Niels Bye Nielsen is a genius.

It manages to remind me of the soundtrack of "Hitman 2 : Silent assassin" while having that techno-noir vibe Contract had with a pinch of Blade Runner. This track is very Nostalgic since playing Hitman since 2004. "End of an Era" indeed.

@@ForeverTraitor Most of the old games haven't aged that gracefully. Blood Money may still have some features that are absent from the newer games (human shields, civilians using dropped weapons), but overall it's a lot more stiff and doesn't offer as much freedom when it comes to how you approach each of its levels, especially if you're going for the silent assassin rank.

what about absolution compared to blood money the graphics and scoring system are much better it was in my opinion the first game to bring a contracts mode

If you notice this is the choir version of the extraction theme. It's classical and angelic, and yet technologic.

SPOILERS I think this song is signified as one last requiem for the ICA, before they are shut down. After so many years, so many hits, so many contracts, and how much they changed the world, their time has finally come to a close, which was caused by what was once their greatest asset, the legendary Agent 47.
@sofalix884022 күн бұрын
Indeed. It is a requiem for the ICA, as they are about to fall, but also a requiem for 47's past at the ICA, and the decades he spend there.

Such a beautiful score for a beautiful map, the empty rainy streets of Chongqing was incredibly relaxing.

Even though it's probably one of the simplest tracks in the HITMAN 3 soundtrack, I think this one's one of my favorites. I like how over the course of the trilogy, the "Mission Accomplished" theme became the leitmotif of the ICA. The requiem beginning with a mournful rendition of the "Mission Accomplished" theme makes you reflect on the past. The ICA was once what 47 lived for. It made him find meaning in his existence. It was an integral part of his life, and now they have turned on him. The latter half of the requiem is a dark, unfamiliar theme. The ICA wants nothing more to do with 47; they have become another asset of Providence. Providence has once again ripped 47's life away; his old way of life has essentially died, and his mission is to lay it to rest, while striking at Providence once again in the process. This track is essentially a reflection of what once was, but can never be again. The somber choir and the strings darkly express this, and it really is beautiful in a grim, sad way.

Just want to remind everyone, that all of this is synthetic. No real choir was used, and still, so organic.

If you're talking about the music that plays on levels with targets, that would be Ave Maria.
