Something you realize on repeat play throughs of this mission story: Patrick Carlisle would’ve seen his mother leaving the greenhouse late at night, just as Rosie the maid said they did, and realized that Zachary turning up dead the following morning under mysterious circumstances was no coincidence. He was lying to protect Emma from being implicated for murder; that’s why he accused Zachary and Mr. Fernsby in turn. I can’t tell how much I wish there was an option to call out the suspect’s lies before concluding the case with Alexa Carlisle.
