Hitman Episode 3 - A Gilded Cage Marrakesh - Silent Assassin, Suit Only Challenge Walkthrough
Step 1: Get the keycard from the underground parking garage (restricted area with miliatry). The keycard is on a military crate near lots of guards. Throw a coin to distract the guards, then grab it and open the keycard door at the other end of the garage.
Step 2: After the keycard door go upstairs and kill Claus Hugo Strandberg (mission target). You have to get here very fast to find him in a good spot! If you were to slow he will not be in the place shown in the video. In that case restart the mission and try to be quicker. Do exactly what is done in the video as quickly as possible.
Step 3: Now you can take your time. Go back through the parking garage and make your way to the second assassination target (Reza Zaydan). If you head back to the starting point you can go to the rooftop of a building and climb to the restricted area. Once here, break open the locked doors with a crowbar or use the key (found on rooftop near starting area).
Step 4: Turn on the school intercom on the ground floor (near two guards that are sitting on chairs and talking to each other). This will lure the target to the restroom above. Climb up through the broken ceiling. When he enters the room, take him out. Make sure the guard in the corridor isn't looking your way! Best if you make a manual save game before activating the school intercom.
Step 5: Drag Zaydan's dead body away from the door (you don't have to hide him, just get him away from the restroom door). Then go back the way you came. If you climb up the pipe to the rooftop there may be a guard nearby. He usually notices something, but does not investigate the area. You should make another manual save just to be sure. You could also take him out and drag him away. After going up the pipe simply go to the mission exit and you're done.
The only hard part is to get to the first target (Claus Hugo) quick enough. If you are too slow he may have moved on to a heavily guarded area.
You are also allowed to make manual saves in between and reload them in case something goes wrong.
Also keep in mind you must not get spotted and only kill the targets (you can subdue / knock out other people).
Completing this challenge gives you a ton of points towards Marrakesh Mastery Level 20. Reaching level 20 unlocks the "Ancient Marrakesh" trophy / achievement.

Great walk through, but I have to say it really irritated me for some reason that you picked up the school key, but still used the crowbar to break the doors open.

Crowbar is quicker to open the door. I only included the key for the sake of completion (and it unlocks a challenge).

It's actually easier if you poison Zaydan's food (See the Poison IV challenge) While you are waiting for the poisoned food to be delivered to Zaydan, you can take care of Strandberg.

I woulda woken up the waiter, poisoned Zaydan's food and then gone off to take out Strandberg while it's being delivered. By the time I'd gotten to killing Strandberg in the studio the meal would have been delivered. I should go try this theory out; see how the timing works......

it doesnt, and now in fact im frustrated i tried to use this guide for the strandberg assassination in the hitman 2 legacy mission without seeing that its entirely dependent on him being in one place at one time that he never goes again 🙄, and dunno what to do but start over edit: eh nm, he comes back around. and anyway you can sneak into his office w the keycard and some patience.

Nice job bro thank you for the share. I made this way harder on myself, I kept thinking you had to hide the bodies and I went crazy trying to hide the guard's body that's in the outside walk way before you turn the radio on lol. It took me a few to realize it wasn't necessary in this mission. Thank you again

Absolutely beautiful Video, thanks! For me, not in a Million years. On Normal I have Won 5 Stars quite a few times, I could do it, but it would be a 'blood bath'. Always 2 or more Guards on Second floor sticking to both Targets, taking out 1 Guard would be nice. I think it's the Game's 'counter strategy' that gets me? Last week, I have un-locked the Baton, and it's in use, Ha-ha! Fun Game, got to play it your way! Good Luck

I'm getting Strandberg with the exact same timing you are, but as soon as I do the guard is coming through the door he came through and see's me every time because he never leaves. Is there any way around this?

link259 when you gorote him it automatically drags him. Just grab him the moment he turns to the railing and start dragging him back to the room as quick as possible. 1 second difference and you'll get spotted. That guard always comes back. Just be slightly faster

I'm guessing you guys got this by now but for anyone else reading, I had the same problem. What to do is let thenm both walk off, place your gun on the floor halfway along & go back to the door you came out. The guard will return first and pick up the gun, when he turns back, come back through the door and take him out.

Easiest way to kill General : Poison his lunch then wake up the waiter behind the chicha bar! :D Then you throw your last coin in the fountain and go smoke some chicha. Well done 47! :D

I had the same issue that most have had, I can't get passed the two guards at 2:02 mark without throwing a coin, although I didn't throw one in the parking garage, I just used the radio. Also The target does come back to the spot if you aren't fast enough it just really takes a loooonng time.

Is the Silent Assassin Suit Only challenge possible with Absolution suit, or does it have to be the Signature suit?

i think you just need to have the starting suit for the whole mission. Wether it being the signature or another suit, it doesn't matter.

You don’t need anything at all really, it’s done with a suit yes, but of your choice, as realistically, you’ll be trespassing all those places anyway

I waited for Zayden in his office on the window ledge and when he came to make a phone call by there I juss shot him in the face point blank rage lol then dumped his body over the ledge not realizing soilders were down there and they spotted him place went into lockdown panic but luckily I was wearing a soilder disguise so me running out the building with a big ass machine gun looked normal

You don't have to hide the bodies in this mission to get Silent Assassin Suit Only. In other missions you have to, but not in this mission for some reason.

what i want and expect from a strategy game is when you develop a solid strategy that the game has the actual ability for you to be able to implement it reliably and not just on random luck. casual players would never notice any of this but speed runners and others like me show the development of this to be the joke that it is. i love this game but it's got some enourmous problems to fix that it shows no intention of resolving.

so i tried this and no matter how many times i tried every time i vome up the stair well from the parking garage and pass by the two guards talking in the walkway every time i go up the stairs the security guard sees me whether im slow or fast the only way i got past them without getting seen is to distract with my las coun then when i try to get the first guy there is a guard watching him all the time so your walkthtough dont work i did everything you did and it doesnt work.

Not patched. Wait till the security officer starts talking and looks away from the military personnel. Very detailed field of vision on guards. If the security officer is making eye contact with the other one he will have the stairwell in his peripherals.

Marrakesch is great and large but personally I enjoy my time more on Sapienza due to the calmness there, on Marrakesch there's so much damn noise and people! Anyway both are great and fun, seems like the devs are really using the month time they have to work on a mission.
