Hitman Codename 47 - Mission 4 - Lee Hong Assassination

Okay... this mission is one tricky son of a bitch. Well, with this strategy the mission becomes pretty simple and consistently clearable but until this was worked out i had no idea how to pull this off.
There is so many glitches in this level and to do this all without getting slaugthered takes a lot of know how. Most of it ain't obvious so pay attention as i clear through this first large scale mission.
The objectives are to get the combination for Lee Hongs safe, find out where it is and retrieve a statue from there. Then this statue must be given to a Chinese old man who will then provide you with the means to take out Lee Hong.

i used to slit his throat (agent Smith) in instant the cutscene finished. Instead falling down, he would be freezed but his head still following your movement

That's why the hitman series is my favorite game of all time!!! So many unique ways to complete a mission. Nice... I didnt use the poison btw, i just blasted lee hong tzun and about 40 guards on that floor, Lol

Every door I tried to walk through they said: "You aren't welcome here, leave now" or something like that. I just killed everybody and got most of the way through the mission. The body guard killed me when I followed him out to the dock building.

Have to admit, the first Hitman was the one that started it all. Brilliant game. You really had to be patient with how you went through a level, especially the Lee Hong Assassination. Guns blazing just wouldn't work! Also, on looking closely at the old Hong Kong pimp lady......she has the ridges of a Klingon on her head!!!

I managed to get it done. Really rough clearing out Lee Hong's place because of all the AKs but it is possible. Brought a sniper, uzi, silenced pistol and knife. A lot of tricks used aswell to get around the AI too. I might make a video on it sometime in the future

@@Gwynbleiddsanity she was in the level Shogun Showdown. While going through the stairs to Hayamoto's room, you can see her in the rooms below 6th floor. Hitman does mention saving her from Lee Hong and now she's with Hayamoto. She says the Yakuza boss is paranoid about Hitman.

It's not really hard but inconsistent when it comes to the AI. Understanding the AI of this game is pure trial and error It has it's exploits depending the level. Hitman 2 is way harder because the NPC's are incredibly sensitive to every move you make. Lee Hong assasination is incredibly easy once you understand the AI exploits.

if you still haven't figured it out, there's three safes, basically every time you play, randomly one of them is the right one. When you get to the CIA agent in the, he tells you wich is the safe that he tried to open, and that is the correct one. Ofcourse you can also guess, and try to go trough all of them.

i think we can leave the poison food part out...the fat target is located at this house with the boat aswell...why dont just kill him there and then the other guy...both guys in one house without the need to poison any food.... don't know if this will work, gonna try it out. was failing 10 times because of tried to open that safe in the basement...so i wasn't at the part with the actuall killing mission yet...

Its not really that hard to complete but its pretty BS to figure out at points which makes some of the missions seem hard to complete. I must say that if you figured out this game at the age of 7, I'm impressed. I hadn't even really started gaming at that point in my life :3

i never killed anything that moved, i actually tried doing it with less causalities as possible since it penalized you for killing civilians and armed guards.At that age also never really got into GTA as a matter of fact never even completed a single GTA game in my life, i preferred tactical games like MGS and splinter cell.Shoot erm ups and fps are fun for the first hour then after that its the same boring shit.

The only way to make use of the poison is kill a waiter and take the clothes, but this make than the reward will be less, because the waiter is an innocent civilian. The problem is than if you don´t make this, Lee Hong never abandon the seat in the restaurant. Im don´t take the bottle of poison, but when i exit, Lee Hong comming and seat with Tzu, but them never leave the seats. Only two things: Never kill the waiters, and never kill the VIP girl, Lei Ling.

Jesus Christ !! what did you use to capture this footage?!? the in-game resolution AND loading screens are so proportional and smooth. not to even mention that silky frame rate, clearly you didn't just screencord this, but i imagine it is't merely a OBS alternative. This is a late reply, but maybe someone still needs it. There are 4 different places where you can find safe, the guy that you rescue will tell you where the safe is, it is different everytime you play this mission, that's why you need to rescue him. If you open a safe in different location it will not work.
