The last time we visited Nun's Valley the area was filled with cloud and raining below in the valley. One of the pitfalls of straying too far from Funchal.

Also thanks for showing more of Curral das Freiras as it's not covered enough in general. Yes I'll be on the Pearl for a week at the end of April so I definitely look forward to seeing you! a madeira tem muito charme proprio. tem um charme bastante unico da ilha. toda a cultura e a decoração das coisas se vê o quão as pessoas se preocupam em dar valor às coisas. nao precisamos de ser todos iguais. compreendo que ha pessoas que possam nao gostar da madeira. não é para todos. ha pessoas que gostam muito mais dos açores e nao gostam da madeiral. eu gosto muito mais da madeira, mas tambem gosto dos açores, todas as regioes do pais merecem o meu respeito, até o algarve 😂, o algarve tambem é muito bonito, menos as pessoas 🤣😅

Hi Jeff. Can you help us? We are visiting Madeira between 20-27 of April and we are definitely doing the Pico to Pico hike. We are trying to avoid the crowds so we are thinking to start the hike in the afternoon (doing both ways), finish before sunset and then watch the sunset from there. However, all I hear is to start the hike early nobody talks about starting in the afternoon. Is it a good idea or should we forget about it? (From the clouds and crowd point of view)

Hi Petra, yes not a bad idea, just make sure you get your time right so as to not be caught hiking at night and of course to have your car parked in the correct place 🙏 best of luck!! Enjoy Madeira 🤠
