Ive never once seen him get cross or throw his toys out the cot he always congratulates his opponents and is always leading a good example defintly some of the other guys need to take some tips from him every game you play is a learning curve you cant always win in life.

All the Littler fanboys calling Humphries "Fluke Humphries" a while back. Shows up your darting knowledge when you have been watching for 5 mins. That being said, this looks like a tasty PLD this year when Bully Boy is sitting outside the cut off point at half way. Wouldn't even attempt to predict the top 4 right now!

ye littler works in spells, when he is on it he is almost unbeatable, when he is down not so. longer matches are better for him, also he needs to work on those doubles.

The last 2 he's smashed the qf to then look less than average in the sf. You need 3 top games at Premier league level which he's managed before and will probably do again....

I wonder if MvG asked for Bevins to always be his caller in every match or if they just do it because he deserves to have the best referee call his matches. It seems as if in the PL and in Majors that Kirk Bevins usually gets MvG's matches.

Littler is going to be a FANTASTIC WORLD CHAMPION one day but he just needs to be a little bit gracious in defeat. The once great Leighton Reece once said to be a respected Champion you have to be able to take a defeat and not be a sore loser. Luke the way he has rose through the ranks could be he will dominate darts for a few years. Good luck son. 👏

Littler v MVG nice win for the lad, awesome darts. Feel for the Asp but Humphries is just too good and consistent. Super humble too. As an aside, that greebo in the red booing Cross at around 19:30; get a grip you ass! Want Nate to win, too, but gtfo with that carry on, you're not in the pub now. This is these guys' livelihood.

Thoughts below: Peter won't go without a win after all. I could say "oh he got lucky"... but he played well enough to punish Gerwyn's missed doubles and has looked better to be fair to him. Price has been very poor on his doubles recently, not like the Iceman at all. In the end, the night belonged to Luke Humphries again. It's a shame Nathan couldn't get going with his scoring in the final like he did against Luke Littler because that final could've been very different. It was a cracking night though, best of this league so far.

@@marryof995Johnny Clayton at the worlds during Covid. Johnny had also missed a 9 darter , MVG started 180, 140, then replicated successfully Johnnys 141 miss to leave himself double tops . At the time the commentators called it the “greatest leg ever” , obviously until the untoppable Smith vs MVG in the final a few years later.

Littler averaged 97 against Asp which isnt bad at all. Just coz he averaged 114 first game doesnt mean he was 'absolutely nowhere' in the second game. Hes just won his first Euro tour title on debut, the kid is awesome.

Folks I think should look at. When Littler loses what was thrown against him. Anyone beating him with a 90-97 average? Hmmm You can say the same thing about MVG. Are you seeing a pattern? Heta played the game of his life against Littler. And the ASp did too in premiere league as of late. Coincidence ? Don’t think so. Btw who is getting more chances of 9 darters as of late? And who seems is getting more shots at taking out the numbers 170, 167, 161? Hmm I know the answer to the questions above. Answer = Littler!! Some folks can’t see the forest for the trees. Go look at Snakebite interview as of late talking about Littler. He’s spot on. IMO.
