If you want to see how dupe accounts were made Basically Minecraft reset the servers for 24 hours, no deal, right? That's wrong, when you made an account in that 24-hour window, it would not register if a player name was taken, hence dupe accounts being created, they act the exact same, but if you try to kick or ban 1, you do it to both, the user id is even the same! Don't try resetting your time or updating the Minecraft website because it won't work, only mojang servers can control it, most dupe accounts have been deleted, but some still remain, fortunately *for mojang* you can't make dupe accounts anymore, so if you were wondering how dupe accounts were made, thanks for reading this comment. Exposing how the duplicate acc might work Yt rank allows you to use a command called /nick allowing for you to change your username without changing your real gamertag thus giving yourself a nickname on the hive and only on the hive so if theres an acc with the same username as your nickname.
