As the only HIVEMIND/NASCAR fan, i unfortunately must clarify that Dale Earnhardt jr came 2nd, not 1st in the 2001 Daytona 500. But Earnhardt Sr owned the car of Michael waltrip who came 1st (Waltrip and Earnhardt jr were teammates).

My dad being a huge Earnhardt fan, Dignan made me giggle quite a bit with his very accurate summary of his death (his son didn’t win, he was second - his best friend Dale Waltrip won for the first time in a while and he was celebrating while not knowing his friend had just died).

8:41 when diggy talks abt bruddanem sounding like love, taking a step back and listening to that album maybe 30 times, the forever story sounds like damn a lot. and they both kinda have a similar track list. first track is an intro, second is a high action song with a beat switch, melodic track with feature with bruddanem and love, there are jus so many similarities with that album it is ridiculous. please tell dignan to stop hiding his dead cow carcasses in my backyard, it’s scaring my gf and i’m worried she’s gonna break up with me.

6:50 hey guys diehard nascar fan and hive mind tv fan this is very close but it was actually Micheal waltrip that won that race, he raced for dei (dale Earnhardt incorporated) dale jr actually finished second. The last thing dale senior saw was his two cars one of which his son was in speeding to the finish without a challenger in sight. Dale jr would return for what is now the coke 400 (also at Daytona) and win. After the race all he had to say was “he was with me tonight”

I think you've taken a bit of license on that Earnhardt story. There's nothing anywhere suggesting that his eyes popped out of his skull. He did however die instantly from a basilar skull fracture. He was basically impaled by his own spine from what I've briefly read. Also, Waltrip won that race. Earnhardt Jr finished second Sorry to be a know-it-all 🤪
