I actually agree with the Hiya Shimo stating how SHMA Shimo looks like a Playmates, the SHMA Shimo has a more plastic look to it, making it look more like a toy. This is mainly due to the fact that Shimo's scales on that figure reflect the light from the cameras, making it look like plastic. However, the Hiya Shimo has a much better look to it, being more life-like.

And also the Hiya version revealed after the movie and my bet is the SHMA has been in made for idk during movie production so here's the thing Hiya based their's after the movie came out to get accuracy But Bandai the main supplier for Godzilla stuff got first and based theirs on the promotional art and made prototypes based on the promo art The MMS version was made after the movie came out This is just a theory A TOY THEORY

Hiya definitely has the better textures and details, but the head is way too small and the spikes or icebergs are way too short. SH doesn’t have as much detail, but the head size is accurate but the proportions do look a bit weird but the spikes or iceberg are accurately sized

Yeah I agree, I genuinely find it insane that shma Shimo is even winning in this video. HIYA Shimo beats SHMA Shimo in every single way, except for the more accurate scaling. but that just my opinion.

how did SHMA Shimo even win in this video? it’s overpriced for something that just slightly bigger then HIYA Shimo by just 1 inch, and it’s on the same level of paint job as playmates. They didn’t even paint the small spikes on the side of the head, they just look like fleshy protrusions. But anyways, that just how I feel, it’s okay if you prefer the shma version over the hiya.

I’m def buying the hiya, even tho it’s not as articulated. The sh paint is awful looks like a play mates figure. And the Shimo is prob gonna have reattachable heads, because if you look closely, there is no joint on the sh Shimo jaw. So I’m looking forward to buying Hiyas.

Well, playmates did use Jared Krichevsky’s concept art (which is not at all what we see in the film), and SHMA’s figure looks to be doing the same thing. Meanwhile hiya went with the actual film version.

Let me get this straight shf..... SHF SHIMU IS LITERALLY NOT ACCURATE TO THE FREAKING MOVIE IS ACCURATE TO THE CONCEPT ART! And always comes with is a freaking Kong head with the silver tooth... For one Shimu's Neck is long like a freaking giraffe that head is too long and her talons are not black in the movie they're like a purple and blue color And why does the spikes at the end of the tail got ball joints they don't move in the movie And it's freaking price is 200 something dollars.... You know what I'm getting the hiya one instead of the shf shimu because the shf shimu it's just a knock-off version of playmates..

This doesn’t seem right. SHMA is nowhere accurate to anything except the Jared Krichevsky concept art (depending which exact art we’re talking about) Hiya is a lot more accurate to what we actually see in the film. So a lot of this feels wrong….
