How the hell does aging work in the soul society? Hiyori looks exactly the same as she did a century ago, while Toshiro has visibly aged.

Felipe Lenck yeah I don't really know I've asked myself that a Lot too. I remember in I think it was episode 4 with Yūichi, Rukia says that you don't get hungry and don't grow old when you pass on to the soul society. But when we get to Renji and Rukia's past we see them as kids so I wonder is it only people/souls that have spirit energy (maybe a certain amount) that actually age or is it maybe a small plot hole that was missed. That's actually has bothered me since I first watched Bleach, sorry I went a bit off topic. For them however I think for the most part they've either are a tall as they get (which thinking going through the manga is not the case) Or they take awhile to grow and age.

I dont think they ever really explained how exactly aging in Soul Society works so its very confusing and im not sure if the series even got any set rules for how it works at all.

the ageing process in soul society is slow compared to the real world, it's took Yamamoto a thousand years to become really old

callum downey shinigami age just very slowly. Gin , matsumoto and byakuya were preteens 110 years ago. Hitsugaya aged a couple years in 40. He will grow much more as we can see in chapter 671. Hyiori being a vizard she is probably like a hollow, unable to age

Is it only me or does Toshiro’s way of speaking always sound so polished, and elegant?! I mean it’s rare to see him curse and when you compare Hiyori’s dialogues to those of Toshiro, I’d say that the captain of the jubantaai always sound aplomb and someone polite, although he is trying to throw insults... Yeah...there’s no doubt about it, toshiro is a savage with class 😂😂👌🏻

While the English dub is pretty good, I personally think the Japanese dub is funnier because the Japanese VA for Toshiro is the same VA who voices Edward Elric in FullMetal Alchemists. A character who coincidentally hates being called short.
