Hizaki really knows about the neo classical metal concept. Many guitarist believe that its just about shredding the whole song and trying to prove who can play faster... but not this guy.

yes, hizaki is absolutely beautiful. and he's one of the few people that can make power metal, shredding etc look graceful. versailles is an amazing band, and is in my top ten favorite bands (and i got quite a few favorites lol)

You compare this band to obscure ones on KZfaq, but that really isn't the case. This band did not get popular because of KZfaq and never attempted to do so. This band has more views because it has more exposure--worldwide.

its called Visual Kei, its a fashion style in Japan mostly common among bands many bands in Japan have adopted visual kei as their key persona since the Japanese are already so androgenous, they dress that way as a way to make a major statement about the freedoms they cant normally express in the mostly uniform Japan and mostly they just look freakin awesome xD

With music skills like his, he can dress however the fuck he wants.

Lol at replies like these being thumbed up... Cross-dressing is not some huge thing in Japan, it is something that is done by some bands in a very niche market, which is Jrock / Visual Kei. Visual Kei is not huge, unfortunately, it is my favorite but it is not very popular in the grand scheme of things. And most importantly this style of dress is not new, English rock bands have done it since the 60`s, and throughout history males dressed as females on stage.
