only the blade and the scabbard are ok the body of the knife ( comes from a scout knife ) the handle pattern is not correct the diamand is not the right one on the first model, there was a crocodile pattern on the handle with a much smaller diameter than the transitional or rzm models it's still a nice knife but it's not 100% original anymore, I've already sold 50's of them, I know them like my kids

I would guess to replace the diamond the grip was pried up to allow room to bend the prongs as the diamond was inserted. Whoever did it probably didn't expect the grip not to return to its original position.

I wound one in Poland, broken(blade and dimond missing) , has more of a crack by the dimond like someone would like to try to damage it. First brake the blade then remove the sfastica. It is all rotten. Found on an agrocultural field by a small river.

I think the diamond has been replaced with an original but the splayed pins are meant to pass through the tang. I've got several and one has broken rear grip but i still cant see the tabs. Its not uncommon (in Germany) for the diamond to be popped out then it can be sold with no issues. dealers will then refit the diamond and therefore increase the value again.

The question is what will you do to sort the problem? I just purchased my late war version.. Looking forward to seeing it..
