Jtf2, often gets considered a tier 1” unit, similar to the US JSOC units, especially CAG. But in actuality they’re like Marine force recon… maybe even division recon lol. Ya they get to work with cag, ya they get top clearance. But that’s because Canada really wanted a SAS type unit.…. But in actuality, a dude can get into jtf2 without a single deployment. Don’t get me wrong. I have total respect for them. I never came into contact with them throughout my career, but they’re great. Just saying. They are not the same as Delta

I have the Cloud Defensive LCS on quite a few of my rifles. Great product for taming wires and eliminating zip ties....like the Haley strategic thorn tail over the Arisaka mount though

Simply not true. There is a clear difference between the two stocks. While they may look the same to casual civilian shooters they definitely are different. #Fact

For the Surefire muzzle you can get a aftermarket M15x1 to 1/2 28 adaptor, and its available in Canada!

Dude man your killing me with your collection man . CAG are the true quiet professionals. I wish I could afford 5k for an actual 416 upper . Or at least that's what they were about a year ago .. Also there is B5 being used out in the wild . Do not know if they are being used on 416 but I've seen plenty on MK18s and MK4A1s. Also I've heard of guys using Colt Piston BCG . Obviously not CAG but just in general for the 416 clones.. You are either a single dude or your wife has a lot of Gucci Purses to allow this awesomeness..

Awesome build. Regarding how the scout light is mounted to the rail, they are directly mounted using screws and washers.

Imo I see more Magpul CTR and even more STR (D boiz love the extra storage) in photos of CAG deployments than I do LMT Sopmods tho the guys with the super shorty delta force SR25 E2 carbine seem to prefer the sopmod. Also, a lot of delta guys run aimpoint micros and even saw 1 or 2 trijicon MROs, but yes, the EXPS 3-0/2/4 and HWS 553 seems to be their go to optics. Thanks for the rest of the info. Rly excited to build my own HK416D clone

They imported some of these into the US in a pistol form. Hopefully the hk facility in the US will upgrade the mr556. Then I would be interested in getting one.

B5 has a “enhanced” version that is an exact clone of the LMT sopmod stock , the bravo is the slime , no compartment version.

Cloud Defensive also makes an MLOK tape-switch Mount that is much sleeker and allows you to mount at the 2/4/8/ and 10 positions on the Geissele Rails

Can you confirm that the Geissele QD sling swivel m-lok mounts well to this rail? I’m finding nearly everyone I try is too long to slip inside the m-lok slots on this particular rail.

I've never heard of that, hate to be that guy but it could be your upper rail is slightly out of spec, but if not there are eotech replacement bases you can buy if you don't want to put in a warenty claim

I realize I'm about to roast a gun that is way above my pay grade, but all those different colours are not jiving with me haha... It looks like a parent of five babies had swatches of their baby poop and instead of picking 1 colour they pulled the "I love them all equally let's make each part one of the colours" haha.... Different strokes for different folks, wicked build! However if I did that build in 100 years when I earned enough extra dough I'd have to paint it a uniform colour haha

Totally different purpose. The 416 was designed as a M4 replacement, the 433 was designed as a G36 replacement.

Being in the marine corps infantry. I don’t recommend using your bolt to tighten the bolt for the hand guard. A lot of M27 bolts teeth end up breaking. Stupid design by HK.

I have an Airsoft 416 that I bought In Quebec, Canada. I'm not on any sort of watchlist for any crime, but the reality is if a police officer enters my home illegally and finds my airsoft rifle that looks like a real rifle, I'll get charged, assumed guilty and then have to prove my innocence.

No wonder there so different if relying on clear anodize to give them that color, it is a total crapshoot of color tone, still more tan than I have ever seen from clear or “hard” undyed ano which is just ano done longer and lower temp

Seems counter-intuitive that the military would go for such short barrels, you'd think they'd want to stay somewhere around optimal muzzle velocity, hard to believe 3-4" makes that much of a difference getting through a doorway
