Created by Mark Doyle and launching as a radio show on Jazz FM back in 1999, Hedkandi evolved into a global dance music phenomenon. We began releasing music under our own imprint and created well over 200 compilations, returning 16 Top 10 Singles and 7 Top 5 Albums. It wasn't long before Hedkandi began hosting legendary parties across the world, with residencies spanning the UK, Europe, Middle East, Asia, and the Americas.
Hedkandi celebrated it's 20th Anniversary in 2019 with the return of Mark Doyle who curated the anniversary events. At the start of 2020 Mark returned to the brand full time after brokering an exclusive worldwide licence to represent Hedkandi events.

would really wish you guys would always give history and props to the originally singers of the music you play. For example, You really love the "bass line"? Well it comes from the late Aretha Franklin's biggest hit on Arista Records, "Jump To It" !!

That would be nearly impossible, the fast majority of the music we play has a multiple of samples. And you would probably be one of the only few who really cares. Plus do you know how much work we put in to a weekly radioshow, with new music, for over 4 years now??? In this example i was just referring to Tom Novy's "Your body" which has featured on some of our compilations. Our radio show is to entertain, not educate ;-) Be free to comment with all your knowledge on every single radioshow on here ;-)
