I own a 2003 terminator cobra and I love it to death, but this is one of the few cars that if the opportunity came around, I would sell my beloved snake. This car sounds absolutely amazing and from what I can see, pulls like a bat from hell!

Good mother of god that thing sounds great, and the whistle of the t51r, sweet. That supra is a beauty hard top, 6spd, silver, black leather interior, very rare indeed.

I've always wanted the T51R in my Supra, but it takes sooo long for it to spool. The rival turbo sound is any Borg Warner.

@edmondle No problem man none taken :) It's a little bit to spool up I will admit and could def benefit from an anti-lag setup. The T51R is a monster and does take awhile to get up to full boost 5k or so but hang on once it's there.

i think he said it was a custom one. it sounds hella beef because its a 3.1 litre 2jz with cams and 4 or 5" turboback and the hks manifold helps aswell but i will definitely agree that it sounds sick as hell

t51r's have anti surge housing dunno which sound(s) your referring to but its probably not compressor surge hks added some secret sauce to make it sound orgasmic. best sounding turbo ever. mix of the inconel housing and anti surge design

@adamgm84 You are bang on Adam. It's not compressor surge as it's equipped with the anti surge housing. Surprisingly enough it's not currently set up with a Blow off valve.

If i remember right there is change air flow meter and oxygen censor to adjust 20 % more and less fuel from original fuel value, so yes you can increase hp little bit but not even near to 500 hp.
