Hlaudi Motsoeneng shares his own version of events

Former SABC operations chief Hlaudi Motsoeneng has said he will appeal a high court ruling compelling him to pay back more than R11.5 million to the national broadcaster. This is the money the SIU alleges Motsoeneng received after brokering a deal with MultiChoice for broadcast rights, including access to the SABC archives. Motsoeneng says he never received such money. He joins us now live with his own version of events

Hlaudi is the man, the guy wanted sabc to be for south africa. Truly speaking sabc's content is wack is not for South African. The problem is most people are taught to hate themselves and everything that lift black culture is not good or profitable.

One man got paid R6m by a broke public broadcaster that's begging and pleading for us to pay TV License so they can squander our hard earned . Was that the right thing to do? Nee Fok Man!

The begging came after he left. Hlaudi is not involved in that. He is correct when he says the SABC was sustainable under his leadership, and local South African artists benefitted greatly from his "90% local only" rule.

Of course he does not know what is currently going on in the SABC because he no longer works there. He is only commenting about his own case about the time when he did work there. And when he did work in the sabc, the sabc was indeed financially stable.
