I think it could have been a three way . I read that she caught Robert with another man , and that was why she divorced him . Then they got remarried later . But it seems plausible to me he may have been involved in a sexual three way relationship . And he was jealous of Chris s attention to her and not him . His ego .

@Just Be Well I don't believe in Wagner and Walken, but in the well researched book Natasha by Suzanne Finstand, your point is well shown. Natalie liked gay men as friends but not for her husband, According to the book,Natalie, during her first marriage to Wagner in 1962, walked in and found him in bed with another man. The book says she then made a suicide attempt because it disturbed her so much. So it was that and not her affair with Warren Beatty that broke up their first mariage. I don't know if this is true or not, but it could be, as many of the actors back then were bisexual ,like Tony curtis and Marlon Brando. whatever, I thoroughly recommend the book Natasha. It was one of those books you could not put down.

We'll never know the true circumstances behind Natalie's untimely death, but one needs to keep in mind that statistically, crimes like kidnappings & murders are MOSTLY committed by close family members. Why? Because of strong negative emotions & big EGOS bottled up inside for a long time. Feelings like jealousy, envy and hatred are extremely common between spouses or siblings, especially among movie stars. Oh yeah, looks can be deceiving: R. Wagner may have been handsome with a charming smile, but he ultimately FAILED on the big screen, and thus had to transition to the small screen. In contrast, Natalie, from day one until her death was an extraordinary actress: beautiful, talented, successful and desired by other men.

"What's Robert Wagner Doing in 2018? The Death of His Wife, Natalie, has Garnered Renewed Interest" If you look up this article, Wagner's picture for the article, his lying eyes are quite telling. No doubt, he did it and by his look, he would again if given the chance. Which is why he left her to die, no lights to search for her?? WHY? And we cannot forget the lady who heard a woman crying out for help. Robert Wagner heard her crying out.

Robert was having an affair with Jill Saint John and Natalie had found out about it, because after Natalie had died he got married to Jill shortly after Natalie's death. He inherited her fortune after she died, if the cops found out it was murder, then he would have gone to jail and he wouldn't have gotten her money. He didn't want to go through another divorce so I believe that Jill was corrupting Robert's mind and she really wanted Natalie's money because she was jealous of her success. As Christopher Walken he was there to use him as an excuse, alibi and a blame of why Natalie died. That was a plot to get rid of her and to get her money so he could be free enough to marry Jill. I remember when that happened to her and I was told by my family that it was an accident and I got so mad I told them no he killed her. She was afraid of water she would have never gotten on that dingy bye her self and Robert knew that, that's why he told the captain not to go look for her or call the coast guard because he was waiting for her to die. She had drowned because he had beaten her before she was thrown into the water by Robert and he made it look like it was an accidental drowning. He could have made it look like Christopher was involved or he had helped him, or make it look like that he did it. The only thing that he had forgotten about was the captain and when he had found out that he wasn't asleep he told him not to put the spot light on to go look for her, so he probably threatened him and he has gotten away with murdering his wife.

Lana is absolutely right when she says that Dennis Davern has been unfairly attacked, when Wagner has lied for over 30 years. He's told at least three different versions of what happened that night. One to authorities that morning, another in Gavin Lambert's biography of Natalie, and the other in his autobio. Lana and Davern get trashed, and no one questions Wagner's lies. And guess who's the focus of the investigation? Wagner. Not Davern and not Christopher Walken.

Mickey Sanchez. Her not knowing how to swim would not have mattered (well it may had made a difference you are right) what I am referring to is the fact that a fortune teller told her that she will die/drown in dark waters. She was young when this was said to her, she was terrified of being in any water. I think she believed that if she did not go in the water she could avoid her death. The movie part when she goes in the dingy to remove a noisy rolling bottle after a long night of drinking, taking a sleep pill, the noise is bothering her is false, lie, she was deathly afraid of drowning. She didn't go voluntarily, she was thrown in, by who not the captain, not Chris, who is left and who stood to gain?

Most likey what happened was Natalie and Robert who were both partially drunk continued their fighting on deck - she struck him and he struck her back but he struck with greater force and knocked her out and she fell overboard. Robert did nothing after this and she drowned in 30 seconds. Robert`s "do nothing" attitude after this accident pretty much points to a manslaughter charge at least. The police did NOT do their job and failed Natalie the victim in all this.

I wasn't actually there, but I can say this. Whether or not Robert Wagner killed Natalie Wood is just a matter of legal interpretation, because in the eyes of the law, THERE ARE SEVERAL KINDS OF MURDER. First of all, I firmly believe that Wagner was involved in her death. If he killed her prior to her going into the water, that would be considered Murder One: Premeditated killing. But if she was still alive, that could be considered Murder Two, killing without premeditation. Either way, he was complicit in her illegal death and certainly deserved some kind of punishment for his crime. In any case, with Wagner's vast personal connections and tremendous wealth, it is perfectly clear by now that he will NEVER face the penalty that he so clearly eluded.

I have been to Catalina Island and know that a lot of boats park in the Bay. A women tried to go toward her and her husband; from what I understand, Robert Wagner yelled out; leave her; TEACH HER A LESSON". Even drunk, he should have called the Captain and Christifer Walken to help. THAT BOAT WASN'T THAT BIG NOT TO HEAR!! I think no one said much is because they were afraid of Robert Wagner. Two things happened, Christefer Walkin suddenly had his Career boosted and the smart Captain remained alive and was probably paid off long ago. I know Hollywood. I lived and grew up in Santa Monica and Malibu and I know how it is. Not only is Robert Wagner GUILTY of the loss of his wife but by the shear neglect of LEAVING HER was unconscionable by I feel CRIMINAL...... Like I've said before, what these stars do is unbelievable to continue to do Criminal acts all in the justice of maintaining their names. He was a big star and new show, which even I enjoyed on Hart to Hart. But when Natalie was killed, I stopped watching it from that moment on..... yes, he had his children, the marriage was preserved but at what cost. Greatfully, the Captain came out with a Conscience; but Christifer Walken? No conscience YET!!! The loss has been too great to all of us, her PUBLIC. Maybe he didn't take a dagger to her, no wounds were found but how do you push a women into black water(something he knew she was afraid of since childhood) and turn and tell everyone to ignore her and threatened a neighbors boat to not interfere. I guess I have a better conscience and would have jumped in..... I might have been cold but that's nothing to saving her life!! If only her mother had taught her to swim with a floaty like my mother did. I have been heart broken about her loss ever since and OUTRAGED by the shear fact that they think more of their so called images than criminally taking him to Court.....Where is Sherlock Homes when America most needed him. Probably on Downing street smoking his PIPE shaking his head, stating that America who used to come from England can't understand that a "Wrong" can't come right unless they get off their Rumps and do it right!!!! Pretend he's john cue public and get on with it!!!!!

+Carol Wilson My mother dated a set decorator in the early 80s. One day they planned for me to meet Shelley Winters. I never did get to meet her that day, but I was taken to the studio. My mother's boyfriend parked in Robert Wagner's parking space by mistake. Robert Wagner came out, was obnoxious, rude, and temperamental. He was SO vulgar. It was so bad that Telly Savalas and Jack Lemon had to come out and say, "Hey, knock it off, the man made a mistake." Then someone, I do not know who,. said, "Yes, we have all been walking on eggshells too, and I'm tired of it." This occurred right after Natalie died.

I believe those that are stating publicly that Robert Wagner was/is gay or bi-sexual. From that, I think that Natalie W. suspected, had confronted Robert W. about her suspicians but Robet W. denied it. Yet when Robert W. invited a gay actor, Christopher Walken, to be the one guest on the boat that weekend that Natalie then learned (at least in her mind) that Robert W. was gay (perhaps she had found them in bed together.) All 3 had been drinking; Natalie confronted Robert W. and he went into a drunken rage. During the arguing the captain did what he could to preserve the careers of both Natalie & Robert W. by turning up the music on the boat to drown out the arguing so people nearby couldn't hear. To escape all of this, as soon as she could do so Natalie put on warm clothes and tried to get back ashore by getting into the dingy and rowing herself back. I don't think that any of the 3 men realized she had tried to slip away until it was too late to save her. When they realized that she was missing Robert W. didn't want the captain to turn on the boat searchlight since it would have aroused suspicion in people on nearby yachts. They did know, though,, that the dingy was no longer roped to the yacht. If this isn't the case, then I suspect foul play, by Robert W. (& possibly assisted by Christopher W.) but that the captain had no part in the foul play

Lana has been mourning Natalie and fighting to get Justice for her for 40 years. This “captain had a duty to speak the truth when it happened. I don’t know how he sleeps at night. RJ is a piece of work. I don’t care if he’s 90 or whatever. He has refused interviews with law enforcement since this case was reopened what kind of innocent “husband” and father does that. I understand why the girls believe him. His side is the only story they have heard. RJ wouldn’t let Lana see or talk to them. She wrote about it in her first book. My heart goes out to Lana. Wagner and Davern can both rot in hell.

Robert wagner is going to meet his maker soon, same as cosby. If wagner had admitted from beginning, probably would have gotten manslaughter, been out by now. That poor runner of boat was scared and intimidated, but his conscious. Told him to do right thing, even years later, though would have been better to have reported it then, I do belive natalies death, was from a night of drinking and arguing, it was not deliberate murder, but wagner should have owned up to it.

But instead the captain listened to rj and went downstairs and had a drink for 2 hours!!!! Are you kidding me!!!!! Chris..rj and the captain are sitting around drinking for 2 hours before they ring the resturant?? Ohhh come on.

Natalie will always be missed even today. If only, the biggest two words...waited too long to do the right things. Attitude of "stars" to think nothing would go wrong. Think perhaps something going on like in the past . Will anybody ever know. How come no one bothers Walken about anything? A case of omission, not looking for her right away. Covering up to call the harbor patrol early on.

Lana Wood an "icon" and a "movie legend?" What starring roles in movies? Up until a few years ago she was living in a motel room with her (now late) daughter and son-in-law. Also, I've heard at least 3 different stories from Wood about how she learned of the death of her sister.

@5:20 people are picking on Denis (the captain) because he is as much guilty as the two other boys who according to allegations, were caught in bed together in the yacht. Denis being complicit to this and the fact that he worshipped RJ and so he obeyed when RJ told him not to switch on the search lights when it is standard procedure to do so at a time when there's a man overboard or missing. He wasn't operating according to regulations but acted as someone's dog. It is also possible that RJ internally wanted Natalie to disappear forever because she caught him and Walken in bed thus finding out their secret. This "getting caught in bed together" event was included as one of the bizarre notes in the log of the coast guard that came initially to investigate the death. But I would go even further that Denis was not only complicit to Natalie's death but was also probably party to the sex between the men. This could be another explanation as to why instead of Natalie couping herself in the captain's cabin after an argument as she usually did according to Denis himself, she went straight to the deck where RJ caught up with her. Also, according to Denis, he lived with RJ in the Wood-Wagner residence after this horrible event, as a sort of "adopted guest" for many years and he stuck with RJ because he was promised some jobs as a film extra or minor movie roles. But these did not materialise. So did that trigger a falling out between him and RJ, eventually claiming that conscience caught up with him compelling him to "speak out"? This is my two cents on the events and I really smell something fishy about Denis resurfacing after so many years.

I was living in Los Angeles when all this went down. I was dating an English man whose father was a well known medium. I remember him telling me that his father had done a reading for Wagner or maybe the woman he remarried. He saw that Natalie was having an affair with Walkens, and RJ was extremely jealous. He accidentally killed her during a fight. The two men decided to do what they ended up doing to avoid scandal. I am just seeing this years after this case was re-opened. Actually i am glad that this had come out. It’s actually amazing. The truth has a way of doing that...

Robert Wagner threw her over the side then untied the dingy . From the Captain he was told to search instead of the dingy missing first. Why search below first if the dingy was missing. Search for the dingy first . Wagner got away with murder so his career could continue. Sad . 🇺🇸🤘

Wagner is not going to tell her sister the truth that would put him in prison. And I also found it a little odd that he only waited 1 year to get remarried. And if they was having arguments a day or two before Christopher Walken came a board the yacht why did they invite him makes no sense. The only thing I can think of is that Wagner had this whole thing planned from the beginning. I think it was not so much jealousy but he was having an affair himself. And he decided to take advantage of the situation and get rid of Natalie for his other relationship.🤔

robert davern did'nt push her in thats accepted but he did'nt do what he should have done even though robert wagner had told him not to he should have still turned the search lights on if he had there's a good chance that natalie wood would still be alive because of his failure to act natalie wood drowned maybe he thought just because i switch the search lights does'nt mean i'm going to locate her straight away as she could have easily have been underneath the boat itself and out of sight and daytime was against them i.e when it would have been easier to see her and rescue her it was pitch dark but thats beside the point this was an emergency and a woman was missing yet despite this davern was ignorant but remember saying and doing something are two different things just because you have had an arguement with someone does'nt mean that your going to act on it and push someone overboard and as davern had his music turned up loud how did he know what happened???????????????????as well as that neither could he see what was happening either!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
