Towards the end of the thaj neeb ceremony, all people involved in the ritual, including my mother in law, sat at the table for the meal. My mother in law gave everyone a chicken leg to eat except me. I was sitting next to my husband, his sister, and her husband. I felt so sad and stupid being there and didn't have the appetite to eat at all. My husband did give me a piece of chicken because he saw what his mom did to me. Listening to the part, you explained how important and meaningful the chicken leg is and the reason behind giving someone the chicken leg brought tears to my eyes again. It reminded me of what my mother in law did to me.
