I remembered this as it was just yesterday. Today, I'm happily married with 2 beautiful children, a son going on 20 and a daughter going on 26. Yesterday, was my 25th year Anniversary! Thank you God for the love and , happiness and blessings forever!😅🎉❤

Congratulations, it's not the end of the world. I have been there, the crying for the pride and love, the I'm going to be broken without you, a daughter and son to a new family, the support is amazing so don't make yourself have a heart attack, think of the future that opens a new chapter in life. It is part of our wedding traditions to split the chicken between mother and daughter and signifies a much greater meaning, so before making any remarks about her mom crying with a boiled chicken in her hand please know that once a hmong daughter gets married off, they are no longer a part of their family anymore and become the husband's family.

Not to offend anyone but kids nowadays are utterly clueless about Hmong anything. Most if not all are just going through the motion. They cannot even speak the language much less understand or appreciate any Hmong culture customs etiquettes etc. Example Hmong don't eat cake at a wedding. It is not their fault. Buying hmong wife. Will pay either in debt card, check, bank transfer or even crypto. Lol. That outta piss off the OGs. Instead of CASH PAPER MONEY we should use other way of PAYING FOR THE WIFE. 🤣. Back in Laos they used silver bars or ingot. They switched to CASH now we need to adopt. Say..what did our ancestors used to PAY THE WIFE back in Ancient China? Money sword? or some sort of IOU Chinese paper?
