My grandfather had a Janata back in the 70s. The old man must have loved the watch if he still talks about it. It's amazing how something so poorly built was somewhat of a luxury back then. Glad to know that you loved your time here in India. Do let me know incase you plan to visit again. Will take you around to see a few hidden gems if possible.
