Hello Sir, please DO NOT buy HMT watches from flipkart/Amazon/ebay. Those do not use original parts; dials are repainted/aftermarket and movement may turn out faulty too. The only genuine and trusted store for HMT is their India website, hmtwatches.in, and some offline stores in Bangalore.

Hey Sir. Yes, your wrist might be a bit too big for a 36mm watch, especially if you aren't used to slightly smaller watches. I'd recommend trying a similarly sized watch on your wrist (maybe a friend's or at a store) before making the purchase. However I will say that these HMT models make for perfect dress watches which are meant to feel smaller on the wrist anyways.

yes bro, personally i think it would suit you, but it would definitely feel a bit small initially if you are used to larger dials. but it is very elegant, slim and perfect size for sliding under your shirt's cuffs :)

One way to source genuine HMT watches in the States would be to use Shoppre, who buy HMT watches for you and ship them to your home in the US. I haven't personally used it but have seen US folks recommending it on the HMT watches facebook group. You may give it a go if you wish. Cheers :)

dial color would be your preference bro, not sure if i can recommend, but saffron will look good too, it has a sunburst effect, yellow is solid color. get the saffron if u can u wont regret it.

Personally, would go for janata devanagri if its my first HMT. 2 reasons: transparent caseback to appreciate the mechanical movement; and devanagri numerals for the Indian heritage behind the brand. Then expand to different Kohinoor dials in future.
