My first mechanical watch hmt pilot.....

Hey in my life first time i seen pilot watch on my nana's wrist when i was a kid. My nana is no more but i have a lot of memories with this watch. I remember when i go to my nana's home in holidays and then i go to play with nana and then this watch my nana puts besides him and i hold it for few seconds to see that how is that second hand is sweeping. And i wound some times that watch for 2-4 turns and then my nana said hey what are you doing don't do this.. I remember my nana's talking he was so wise and honest man. I just love mechanical watches and and also have a seiko 5 vintage and i also want to collect hmt pilot, janata, hmt6501 movement installed hmt kanchan and rajat i love those vintage style cool looking watches and love the way the balance wheel impulse jewel always kicked by the pallet lever to swing it and the gears moving inside a little case on my wrist. This watch has the same movement as Kohinoor (HMT 0231). But the Kohinoor gives about 42-43 hour power reserve. Any reason why it is less in Pilot at 35 hours?
