Sorry for bad English lol. This song is based on a very old poem, which also name 'Bánh trôi nước'. The poem says about how women who live hundreds years ago in Vietnam were believed to be depending on men and how they still kept their souls pure and brave, no matter how life shaped them.

Bánh trôi nước is the name of the cake from vietnam, They are the fate of the feudal Vietnamese woman through the description of the famous poet of ancient times.
