I will plan on using mostly what I already have. I remember liking how the house looked last year and I think I took pictures. Reusing is a great way to save!

I'm totally there with you. I love all the fall decorations and Christmas. But I just don't have the space to store to much fall and Christmas decor. So i reuse what I have and I might add in a few things. I try to take pics and I might refer to them the next year to kinda change up placement. When I'm shopping for new stuff I have to ask myself do I see myself still like this the next year and depending on the price will I still like this a few yrs from now. That really seems to help me weed out buying things. Last year there was a Christmas decor item I was interested in but it was a bit out of my budget. I said if it was still there at Christmas when it went on clearance I'd get it and sure enough it was so I snatched it up.

You are my girl.... I have tons of ribbon and wrapping paper too. And always collecting more (that I don't need😂). Now, for fall decor....I will add very little. I honestly don't have the storage or extra dollars to change my decor every year. I know what my fall decor will be based on what I did last year😊.

There are just too many months until Fall!!!! I usually can hold out until the middle of August and then I HAVE to decorate for it. Then October 1st I add in the Halloween. Decor. The first weekend in November I pull out Halloween and add Thanksgiving. I am absolutely decorating for Fall with leaves, pumpkins Pinecones and florals. However, I decorate the dining area with apples instead of pumpkins. We are originally from Upstate NY where it’s apple country and we pay homage to our roots.

Hi Damaris, I love looking at each season's decor early. That helps me to decide what I want to use for myself. It helps me see what is in style. I make my own wreaths and flower arrangements. Hello Damaris 🍁 love looking at the fall decor. I was at HL yesterday and in addition to the plain wreaths & box ornaments they had the light up ceramic trees. I looked up and I think I heard ahhhs from angels. I've had some of my Christmas decor for years but have added new things. Some might say too much but I'm 66 and my philosophy in the past 2 years if I can afford it and it brings me joy, I'm buying it. Hope you had a good day 🥰

I may use more florals this year. For October I will get really pumpkins and gourds. Living in Michigan they last till Thanksgiving because of cooler temps.

Hi : this store is so festive for the fall session 🍂🍁.yes, everyone has a weakness ( the wrapping paper...) I have, too. I collcting lately some owls 🦉 they so popular in my country( I have 5 of them ). Love the 3 pumpkins that sat in this store and the flowers collection. Not totally sure what I’m doing for Fall this year but I’m thinking that my color will be purple for florals, pillow covers, and blankets and wood tones or white for pumpkins . I loved those purple flowers you showed. I totally understand when you say you can’t deal with the orange. I get tired of it really quickly and it starts to bother me.

Summer starts on June 21, 2023 so it’s still Spring for another 2 weeks. It’s so early for fall and Halloween, but the stores are putting the decor out.

There are crafters who sell at flea markets and small businesses so that is why they sell seasonal items so early. It’s for the crafters who do it for a living. For the rest of us it’s just fun!

@@chomama1628 yes! It's also great for those on a budget. I could start buying a little fall decor here and there for fall and in a few months from now I can start buying some items here and there for Christmas decor. Otherwise it's just to big expense to buy it closer to fall or in November when you got the Thanksgiving foods to get and gifts to buy for Christmas not to mention the Christmas dinner food item
