Thank you for the compliment (I think!)..😉 I will happily settle for 'decent' figure painter, and I certainly enjoyed doing those two figures from Alpine. The kit was good fun as well, not overly complicated but with a nice amount of detail and options for additional detailing, with hatches and doors open or closed. Can't really ask for more in a kit, in my opinion.. :)

Thank you.. and yes, I agree about the weathering,, but I had trouble getting some of the finer parts to stay on properly so didn't want to manhandle the model too much, for fear of things falling off again. It looks slightly more weathered in reality, than the photos show.. ..and the road is dry.. ;) And yes, the rail version would make an interesting build and diorama, agreed..

Thank you.. And I'm glad you liked the figures, I'm not normally very good at painting figures but these ones turned out ok. Not award winning, but ok.. for me! And yes, each figure cost more than I paid for the kit, each. But I wanted to add some interest to the build and a figure or two also makes you get the size of the vehicle, compared to a human. ALPINE makes some great and fairly easy to assemble resin figures, these were supposed to be for a tank crew but I thought they worked rather well for a scout car.. Thanks again.

Thank you.. I may get the other kit they have made of the BA-20, I think it comes with a radio antenna surrounding the top of the car, so it is slightly different. I enjoyed this build so much that I went and bought a HobbyBoss 1/35 ZiS-5 truck that definitely will be built this year at some point.
