Got the Hobbywing Fusion 1800kv motor ESC combo installed in the Grand Hauler. Still probably too fast for a semi, but it sure is smooth. Find me on FaceBook: BlueDuallyProductions Find me on Instagram: bluedually4x4

That looks sick and moves so smooth I was wondering about dropping a brushless system 1/14 semi

Nice looking truck and it runs smooth with the Fusion system in it.

The fusion is a great system. I have the 1800kv in a crawler and another 1200kv in the snowplow.

You're the second one I've seen with a Fusion in a Semi. SMOOTH! I've got a 9 tooth pinion on my motor, and a 2-1 Gear Reduction Unit in mine... The 1800kv version should be perfect.

If you don't mind me asking what color of paint is that is that one of the Tamiya paints?
@BlueDually4x42 жыл бұрын
It's a Testors paint, Emerald Green on white primer.

Where did you get the black rims and wheels from? Are the wheels aluminum? I am starting my grand hauler build and would love a complete set of black rims in aluminum, thanks in advance.
@BlueDually4x42 жыл бұрын
They are the stock Tamiya semi rims painted black. The front rim is a stock Tamiya wide front that has been painted black.

Can I set up a 1900kv motor and a mamba x esc and still use my mfc-01?
@BlueDually4x43 жыл бұрын
The mfc is set up to run a brushed motor along with all the other functions. A lot of people run a 55 or 80 turn brushed with it. I don't know how you would set up the mfc without it running the motor.

@@BlueDually4x4 I currently have rc4wd 80t just not enough for me lol...could check it out on my Chan
@BlueDually4x43 жыл бұрын
@@thewizard1196 most people go for the 80 for torque and scale speed. A 45 turn would be faster and still have plenty of power.

That rear bumper...where you get it?

I designed it and 3D printed it. You can download it and print it yourself from here: www.thingiverse.com/thing:4583824

What’s the kv on that motor?
@BlueDually4x43 жыл бұрын
In the test it was 1800kv, but I have since put a 1200kv in it.

it sounds like the pinion it meshed too tightly in the transmission. I've built 100s of them transmissions and they all run silently.
@BlueDually4x48 ай бұрын
Makes the same amount of noise as it did before the motor swap. And I still use the paper method for pinion mesh. Its currently apart for sound kit and some other changes, so I'll check it over.

How can I get me one on already customize
@BlueDually4x43 жыл бұрын
Just have to move your steering servo and shift servo forward 1mm and the system will fit.
