Been using HW in my race cars for 2 years now and have never had an electrical issue. still learning how to get the best out of my XR10 pro and motors. When looking for new components they are my go to company. The adjustability and ease of said adjustments with the wifi is one of the best part of using HW. I am now changing all my models to HW when the ofter brand components die in my bashers, boats and planes. In this old modelers world they are by far the best electrical parts I have found other than Multiplex (been at this for over 50 years).

So would this esc be fine in a sct on a 4pole motor? I have a 3800 motor now but looking to switch to a higher kv motor for dirt oval racing.

I'm new to racing and trying to decide which speed controller to buy, and I can't seem to find anything that says what's better about a xr10 pro elite vs a GS3, I plan to race 17.5 2wd, there must be a reason why the cost is over $120 more but I can't find anything? Will my car be faster? Have better brakes ?? What's the reason you run the elite one?

I see you have the non polarity capacitor in there. So it doesn't matter which wire goes where on the esc?

Are all the G2 are elite, Or is it certain colors are elite?

The Elite one only comes in gray with the red lining.

is this motor better than the Tamiya 21.5 turn BL motor ? im new to this lol the tamiya shows its 540 Type engine does anyone know whats better?

Can I run my hobbywing 3.5 turn motor on this esc? The reason I ask is this new esc says it’s rated for a 4.5 turn motor and over where as the older xr10 gen 1 was rated for a 3.5turn motor.

You might be able to if you are keeping a close eye on temps, but I would recommend sticking to the recommendation.

If you’re looking to put in a LOT of power, maybe it’s best to use the 1/8 ESC or event the SCT one.

Hi Spencer im going to buy a g2 speedo for my yokomo running a 6.5 turn hobbywing motor is the elite version ok with the 13 gauge wire I will be running on astroturf, dirt, and carpet in the winter

Every esc has many different settings you have to go through and find what you prefer. You can get it to behave however you like.

My reedy 600z was way better and cheap
