When buying a Hobie Pro Angler or any other kayak, you will need to think about storage and transportation. There are many ways to load and transport your kayak. You will need to read up and think about the best method for you!
Here's why I prefer to load my Hobie Pro Angler on my roof rack:
1. I fish backcountry lakes where the roads tend to be harsh on trailers.
2. I like to camp in my truck and don't want to have my Kayak taking up valuable space.
3. Most people told me it couldn't be done!
If you have any questions about this video, don't hesitate to get in touch with me! Cradle dimensions are coming soon!

Hi! Belated 'Greetings from Texas!'! I found this to be very informative! I have a Takoma with a ladder rack that works great for me & my Outback. BUT I have been thinking about getting a Toyota 4-Runner & this video might be just the ticket to rig & load up my Outback on it! Some great ideas and food for thought! Thank You! & Have a good day, eh!😃

@miguelsigouin3033

Hey Mark, I suggest flipping your kayak upside down and laying your PVC pipe on the bottom. You will have the perfect fit. Rough estimate is 2 x 8'.

It looks hard. Have you tried adding a winch to your current setup? You can put the winch in your front bumper.
