I was born in Hoboken back in 1967. I went to school there and live in the projects. I had so much fun. My grandfather lived in clock towers. I live down the street from where Frank Sinatra was born. Much diversity of culture. 15 minutes from Manhattan. As a child I watched him build the twin towers from my living room window on the ninth floor. I am 54 and I live in North Carolina. But in my dreams I am still in Hoboken.

I recently moved from Hoboken to Ridgewood nj to go to high school. I had lived in Hoboken for 15 years of my 16 years of my life. I still visit pretty much weekly but I really wish I could walk around Hoboken when it was just being built because I find this history so fascinating

My grandmother Anna Andreula went to school while Sinatra was a few grades above here. All of the Andreulas settled here from Molfetta, Italy.

I loved the smell of coffee when Maxwell House was on the waterfront. It wasn't built up back in 88 like now. It was better then

My great grandparents, August Bremer and Bertha Erxmeyer, received their Confirmation in the German Evangelical Church (6th St.) in 1874, conferred by Pastor Leopold Mohn. August Bremer had a paint store in Hoboken in the 1880’s. I have a picture of it.

Wow I grew up in Hoboken, my grandparents landed there from Ireland, had a brownstone on 9th and Bloomfield. This really brought back memories I was 11 yrs old when clock towers was revived, I always thought it was the fancy place to live in town.
