I’ve been using my sojourner weeks folio first almost 4 years. I use the band that comes from Hobonichi. Cute and effective! And I use a tiny binder clip for the pen.

If you haven’t tried. Michaels has cheap sticky pocket set that has sleeve type pocket w card section. It fits perfect inside weeks if you need more to store smaller stickers etc :)

Hello! You can use a binder clip; all the pens I use either fit in between the sides, or the pen-clip slides over the flat edge, I clip them to the back edge of an insert that's not tucked into the flap. There are etsy sellers that cover the metal piece with different elastics so all pen sizes can fit.

I have a super thin Chic Sparrow Mockinbird weeks that I had to add a rivet to mine. The leather kept stretching and the elastic popped out. Now it works and looks great.

I wouldn’t poke a hole in it. Just get one of those cute lasso closures from Hobonichi and use that.

I'd wouldn't put a hole in the leather because it is so thin. The elastic may put too much stress on the hole causing it to stretch out. It's a beautiful cover!

I have a few sojo folios. I use a cheap leuchtturm ‘type’ pen loop, they sell a cheaper pack on amazon and i purchased the small hobonichi elastics to use a a ‘band’ to keep it closed. I chose the hobonichi option because they come in cute color combinations and they weren’t overpriced on etsy.

Gorgeous! I’ve taken the elastic out of most of my TN’s and use them as folios. I went to the Dollar Tree and purchased elastic headbands that matched and added it vertically. Thanks for sharing! ❤️ Joy2plan

Thanks for sharing! I have several leather covers for my Hobonichi Weeks Mega - 3 Gillio Appunto’s, 2 Foxy Fix Perfect Fit covers, 2 Galen Leather and one Sojourner folio. My favorite ones are the Gillio’s because of the pen loop, the attached closure, the big pockets in the back and all the card slots/pockets on the inside. The rest are useless, sitting on my bookshelf in their box or dust bags.

I absolutely love the hobo weeks cover. It is beautiful. If the hair tie works just go with it. If you want something a bit fancier there are lots of Etsy shops that make pretty elastic bands for covers.

They can make the Gedi folio’s with an elastic closure. I believe it’s the thinnest of Rowena’s leathers that they will make with the elastic closure. You can also get the Trifold Weeks cover in Gedi, and it has the elastic closure as well.

Nice looking leather but I love your cover on cover clear with the elastic strap that way you can change the the “insert-liners” by season.

Hobonichi has a pen holder book strap that wraps around the weeks and it comes in plenty of colours maybe check those out they’re half leather and half elastic.
