So looking forward to this season and for this Monday for Tim's cards to come out! Also this Monday, Pittsburgh and Ottawa are playing a Pre-Season game here in Halifax. It'll be my first NHL game and it should be a good one, seeing my Sens live and potentially see Crosby play. Pre-season or not should be a fun game!

as an exchange student here in Canada, collecting cards are really fun im hooked #MT

don’t need to buy any more of this stuff because I got four packs and hit slavkosky, probably just by the single young guns I want from the rest of this part of the set. Thinking more about just investing in 23-24 stuff now. Yes, everybody is freaking out about how expensive series 2 is probably going to be, it might come down in a year, but who knows that’s been the trend for the past so many years. Here’s the thing about this new year though, a. They change the configuration and along with that they’ve added five new parallels that are numbered when you add numbering to cards it cost extra money so I can see why there would be a price hike because of all these new changes. Then, when you also factor in the Bedard hype that adds more of an increase, but that could fluctuate overtime. As much as I understand that these are the reasons for the increase I still think it’s crazy to try to charge $200-$250 per box of upper deck and you’re not even guaranteed an autograph in it. well, a lot of regular people will freak out about the price and avoid buying it, a lot of individual people that will buy a box here there are not gonna have a giant effect on the overall sales of this product. It is the breakers that will make that decision for the rest of the hobby. so this is the ultimate situation of a gamble, do you get sucked into the hype and instantly screw yourself by overpaying for a product that you know will drop in price in like a year or do you wait and hope that the typical thing that happens with these products and bedard, will happen like it normally does the high will die down when he doesn’t do his great as everybody thinks, he will do he either stays on the team or gets sent back to the minors, and then in about so many months or whatever he will come back and just kill it in the league or he will just stay on the team and things will progress over the next few years but the effect of either of these scenarios will be that his young gun is super expensive in the beginning drops like a rock for about a year or two or three and then freaking skyrockets in like three or four years, and so will the product.
