What brand of board are YOU Skating right now?

FA/Hockey decks are only 69-78 here in the US im very confused

Hey Dan have you skated any zero decks? Im looking to get back into skating and im trying to decide between a Zero and hockey. I just heard the concave on the Zeros is super aggressive which i was wondering if it might be too much. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

do you mean nose and tail angle when you say concave? i would personally just call the side raised parts the concave and then talk about the steepness or shallowness of the nose and tail - but you are also have differences with that pocket part you pointed at. i just skated a cheap shaped deck for a month and now coming back to a popsicle board it feels like im standing on a half pipe haha. im paying closer attention to how all the concave feels, and i like the sound of these boards but for £100 it'd have to be a flight deck construction or a retro board for me to consider paying that much.

The impact decks from dwindle/dsm (almost, enjoi, madness, etc) are the best value decks you can buy

I like to skate Andy andersons 8.45 flight deck. $109 for a deck but definitely worth the money. No stress cracks after 6 months of skating.

FA / Hockey are more expensive becuase Jason Dill belives and implemented inflation to his products before anyone else. He priced them at what he thought it was worth ( upwards $190 AUD) And now you're seeing all over deck companies do the same. APRIL deck have gone up to 149 now too.

Man you know hockey decks are just a curse. Skate one and never feel the same anymore with other brands 😂 what size is that hockey deck in the video? And what trucks you ride with it ? That makes a difference toi imo 😊

Why are they so expensive in different countries? It’s like $60-$70 in US

As a new user of FA skateboards i can confirm that in my opinion their boards are the best in terms of the shape, I really love it but the quality is so shitty on these boards. I have skated my FA board for a month now (3 times a week) it shatters very quickly, and the layers on the corners are destroyed and overall the board looks like dog shit now i dont really know what type of wood they use but they should change it ASAP because i expect a better quality from a 100$ board.

Your paying 110 for steep concave kinda seems silly im sure you could find other decks with just as good concave for cheaper if real/ krooked sell for less id get those but look out for the number on the top ply if its a 1 it has the most concave if its a 4 the least amount i mean honestly don't see how those hockey decks are so special there made at the same wood shops that more than half the skateboard industry uses ps stick and bbs and its a basic 7 ply youve got be kidding me if its any more durable than any other deck almost makes me think your getting thek for free to talk positive about it doubt it though lmao
