I grew up in a “we don’t celebrate Halloween” kind of family so every year around Halloween I would be in front of my tv waiting on Hocus Pocus and all of the Halloween town movies. Hocus pocus has always been one of my best favorite Halloween movies. ❤️❤️❤️❤️😌

Hocus Pocus captured the childlike magic of Halloween. It was exciting, heartwarming, a little campy, and just creepy enough without traumatizing a younger audience. It just had the right balance, which I think is why it has endured. Plus, it didn't suffer at all from Bette Midler's charisma.

Thank you for Hocus Pocus! I am 36 and I can still specifically remember seeing it at the theater when it came out and being really bummed out cause I thought the movie was over after the kiln scene. I was so happy when they came back to life and it’s been off of my favorite movies since.

It's not going to have any of the original cast members. Even tho they want to come back and make a new one, Disney said no. The new one is for the Disney Channel and will suck.

I’m 33 and Hocus Pocus has been my favorite movie since I was young! Still is. The first time I saw it was during a birthday party sleepover (on Halloween) when I was in first grade, and it was scary to a seven year old me! But I fell in love with he movie over the years.

I’m guessing Leo turned down Hocus Pocus to play more lucrative roles. If that was the case they should have asked him to play Binx instead. It would have been less of a time commitment and he could have worked the voice roles around what ever other project he was on. I think he would have made a great Binx.

Born in 84', Hocus pocus is a MUST for me every Halloween. I've seen it hundreds of times and itll still make me stop in my tracks to watch it. Im both terrified and excited to see the next one. Happy Halloween!

I actually saw Hocus Pocus when I was super late since I wasn't a Disney Kid. I was 23 when I first saw it with an ex of mine, and while I can't explain why, it was a huge hit for me. It really made me feel like a kid again. Since then I watch it every year!

Honesty you can really see the Dark Elements in the original. This is why I loved it so much as a kid, including the musical parts. As much as I LOVE this movie, I sometimes wished while watching that they went more dark with it.

Yeah he did miss out. No offence to him at all, but I'm really glad we got Omri Katz instead. I can't imagine anyone else playing Max and I wouldn't want to. He did an amazing job and had great chemistry with the rest of the cast.

Kenny Ortega mentions that Max and Danni's house is in Marblehead, MA but it's actually on Ocean Ave. over in Salem. They did film in Marblehead but mostly in and around Salem Common.

It actually came out in the summer despite it's Halloween theam I remember it in the theater with a friend, I was about 9 or 10. It latter was shown on Disney Channel as a Halloween movie.

Im 28 years old i saw hocus pocus as a child in the 90s since then its been a halloween classic that i revisit every year

25 years since I saw it and I never forget that melody. It's so lovely and yet used so sinisterly. I don't know about Satan but the Pied Piper would surely be proud.

Imangine if Leo would have taken that roll. That movie is such a classic and so popular even today. That would have been great for his early career!
