As An Engineer with no knowledge of Medicine, you Doc are an exceptionally gifted lecturer and effective communicator. I have a friend who has been diagnosed with Lymphoma . and I was trying to get some understanding as to of what was his cancer all about. I was so fortunate to visit your site and lecture and was blown away with how well you combined and how well you verbally communicated complex Medical Disease with such an effective "STORY". I was able to follow and understand your lecture and now have a very good knowledge of the cancer my friend have. I hope you continue on teaching Medicine to Medical Students and producing Medical lectures on the you tube. Not everyone can create a complex Subject matter into a Captivating story like you did, making it so much easier for a non medical person as myself to understand Thank you very much and good luck in your career Doctor.

I was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma on April 1, 2014, and I have not seen a better explanation of this cancer! I wish I had found this video when I was first diagnosed, because my oncologist was useless (as far as explaining to me what I was sick with)!!!

Can´t believe 16 people didn´t like this lecture!!! Do they have any idea as to how difficult it is to explain diseases in medicine? Why don´t they try making a video so they can see for themselves what it takes to prepare and explain it thoroughly! They really suck! Don´t you worry doctor! I know how hard it is because i am a doctor myself! Just keep up the marvelous work!

Those minorities are Med Students and Doctors who know more than what this guy is trying to teach. The other group is those construction workers, farmers or people of other trades that have zero understanding of what the lecture is about: Drawings or Medical Science?

He's a very talented and engaging chap. I'm sure these types of lectures not only help young med students, but I'll bet my house that they also help the young population of kids with the disease too. Entertaining and educational in equal measure. Well done, and good on you doc for making the subject of cancer so accessible for everyone interested. :)

I got diagnosed with I - II stage of classic Hodgkin's few weeks ago. I was shocked and thought that my life will change, was depressed for days knowing that they are aggressive cancer cells and that I need chemotherapy. After digging internet and talking with few people I know who went through similar diseases, now I am somewhat relieved and back to same how it was, knowing that it is one of most easiest curable diseases. I didn't even have symptoms, only larger lymph nodes in armpit and neck, which have disappeared.

I had stage 3B. Lymph nodes very visible on both sides of neck and had large nodes under arm's, stomach and groin along with it in my liver and spleen. Had no symptoms other than physically able to see nodes in neck. Underwent 6 months (12 cycles..every 2 weeks) ABVD.Chemo was actually not to bad. After chemo was in remission..still am years later (12). Unfortunately never had so much a cavity before chemo. After though a stroke, mini strokes, sleep apnea, rls, slight narcolepsy, and chronic pain. Wish I knew if this was all just by coincidence or the chemotherapy. Curious if others had similar outcomes?

My lymph nodes have been swollen constantly for 8 months. Back then there where 4. I had a great wiehgt loss for no reason within 1 month. I have always as an adult weighed 64-66. I weight 54 kg now. Which is lower then I weighed as a teenager. The doctor say it's nothing to worry about, since they are not huge. Just swollen/palpable. They don't hurt when I touch them. But when I excercise, I get pain around where they are. And I often get stinging sensation from their locations. Also beginning to have stinging sensation when I breathe, normally with the last breath out. And coughing for the last two weeks. I don't feel sick. Have had night sweat periods, but not right now. I have alot of the itching, and have had for a long time in my right side of the groin (Over a year). Where I also noticed most of the swollen lymph nodes. 4 big ones there. What can I do to get examaned? All the dctors I try don't say it's serious. I say I would like to see a specialist, but they wont send me to one. :( My lymphocytes count are low. 1:09 (× 10^9/L)
