I will not be testing the HOGE 10000 for a few days on wider track as we are having house guest. Hopefully. some-time next week I will run it.

Very nice score on the Ultimate Hoge steam set and in such pristine condition. I own the Hoge 900 streamliner, which I adore and had to have after seeing one on a Dave's train night, featuring Streamliner trains. I always new this 1000 set and the circus set would be unobtainable, so I don't bother even looking for one, given how expensive they would be if found. We all look forward to seeing this beauty run, so don't keep us in suspense for too long. Congratulations on adding this to your great collection. Stewart

Yep, I saw the 900 first time at Dave's. I found a complete set with track for cheap. It was not working, and the frames were tweaked. It runs like a rocket now. I love it.

That is such a spectacular catch Chuck! It’s a bit frustrating not being able to run it now but you’ll make it work I’m sure!

Very rarely does one run across a complete Hoge 1000 with such nice paint and chrome. The side rods are usually broken and the vestibules are also usually missing.

Enjoyed much Chuck would sure like to see your other HOGE that you mentioned. We used to call submarine sandwiches Hoges when I was a kid in the New England area.

Excellent find they also made a streamline set that vaguely resembled the Union Pacific M10000

Hoge looks great. I had no idea it need specific track.
@chiconian494 ай бұрын
It does not need specific track, just wider corners than my O-31 track. HOGE sold banked track so you could run the train faster without it derailing.
