Hogwarts wasn't fake. None of it was. We all have this in common. Hogwarts was our childhood, our comfort home. I'm never going to forget the happiness the wizarding world gave me. Like Dumbledore said... "Help will always be given at Hogwarts to those who deserve it."

let’s all be real. we all dreamt about getting that letter, and hopping on the train on the way to hogwarts, making friends with other wizards and witches.

i will always love the quote "of course it's happening inside your head, harry. but why on earth should it mean that it's not real?" it just represents on how much hogwarts could feel real and it does, it's home and the first place i turn to when i feel like reality isn't home.

The people of Hogwarts were always there for you when no one else was. Dumbledore was always there to give you advice, Hermione was always there help you study, George and Fred were always there to laugh with you, Harry was always there to help save the Wizarding World with you, Ron was always there to accompany you on a late night trip to the kitchens, the Weasleys we're always there to give you a place to spend the night, Hogwarts was there when you needed a place to escape to. The Potterheads deserved the help of Hogwarts. That's why not every one gets us, people who need help are always welcome at Hogwarts. It's funny how I feel like I've been there. Like I've walked these halls, sat at these tables, took these classes. It's like I've lived all of that in a alternate universe and I reminisce about it. The nostalgic feeling is so powerful sometimes.

I'm 31, married with 2 young kids... I remember when I was 13,14 sitting in the fields reading the book every summer when they were released.....I have never gone more than a few months and not watched a film or more than a year and not read the books, I even took my own kids to the studios near London a few weeks ago, I would love them to love the magic as much as I did growing up and how Hogwarts has always been a comfort to me. God I miss my childhood, how amazing new and fresh things were.....

Feeling homesick for a home you’ve never been to...

I feel that the harry potter fandom needs to for a support group. Online book club, making new friends to form that strong and emotional bond, going on adventures in full cosplay, or even a movie marathon camping trip. Hogwarts doesn't have to be a castle. It can be as little as 2 people and a book. Reply to this and we can start our own Hogwarts.

most people want to shift to get railed by the characters or teach everyone gen z humour or even see what hogwarts would be like in the modern day. some people like me want to shift to see these people, befriend them, and tell them that everything will be okay. i want to enjoy learning the classes and sleeping in the dorms. i want to enjoy the feasts and all the magical creatures. i want to roam around the castle at night when i can’t sleep. i want to go home.

imagine waking up and finally saying 'i finally did it'

Its so painful knowing that the place you feel the most safe, the most loved, isn’t a reality. I can never really go there. Yes shifting is some way but it really is just a dream after all. I can never really feel the presence of the place I feel at home. I don’t want to script my relationship with the characters. I want it to all play out as the universe lets it. I feel pain in my heart and aches in my bones because I can never go home. My home, our home, is a fiction from books and movies but it will always stay true and real in our hearts. How do we visit a place that only exists as an image on a screen that is captured in our minds, or described through words on pages of a book? There will never be enough camera quality or enough paper in the world to describe Hogwarts. It is a place that remains in my memory, my heart, my mind and soul, and my biggest fear is not death, or spiders, it is the fear of never being able to go home. To feel safe, wanted, loved, smart, and where my heart desires to be. I imagine myself spinning around the halls and laughing in potions class trying to do a spell. I imagine having true, non-toxic friends who will love and support me for who I am, I imagine never being hurt by the ones that I love. I have never been loved for who I am by my friends. I always feel like I am left out, like I am the weird one. My friend literally called me “insane” and how I used to be a “psychopath” even though she’s the one who pushed me to that level. I will do anything, ANYTHING, to make them smile, or laugh, or just feel happy and safe around me. I want them to be able to tell me anything, but they never tell me anything. They never ask how I’m doing, they never voluntarily invite me to hang out, I always have to ask. And even when I do ask, they always say “sry no I can’t today” or “sry I can’t” or just don’t respond at all. All I want is to have friends who ask ME to hang out, who feel safe and secure around ME, to just have a non-toxic relationship. I want to feel loved. I feel so insecure about even speaking because they have made sure that the only thoughts that run through my head are “I don’t know if I should say that..” or “if you say that she’ll get mad”. To be able to wear a Gryffindor cloak around the halls, eat dinner in the great hall with my friends Harry, Ron, and Hermione, to have the best conversations with them and always stick together no matter what, to play quidditch and win the game. I just want to go home. That’s all. It’s a simple request, really. I pray to get my letter at Hogwarts every day and every night. I hope that even though I am 13, there could have been a mistake and they couldn’t have known I was a witch because I am from New York. I just want to be a witch, I am a witch. I have all the signs. Angel numbers, I have made odd things happen when I am sad or mad. It could be a completely sunny day and if I get upset and start to cry, it will randomly start raining outside. I have a connection with nature, animals feel secure and safe around me instantly. This is my one and only wish for a lifetime besides my family being healthy and safe. Please, I pray to every god that my wish will come true, that the Hogwarts letter will hit my door and I could fly to London ready to go to Hogwarts. Please, Hogwarts is my home.

A lot (maybe all) of us watching this video really miss Harry Potter. We feel empty without it, we feel sad it ended, we felt a connection with the characters, we loved every second of it and we wish we grew up every single day within Hogwarts. This made me so nostalgic. I finished reading Harry Potter when I was 12, the films finished when I was 15, I continued reading and re-reading, going back. I was one of the first million to get into Pottermore. All these years, I kept going back, specially in times of sorrow like the ones we live in. People don't understand what Harry Potter brought to the generation that grew with it, what it taught us. This video makes me realise of the childhood that's gone, and that's alright. So many different funny and wholesome moments, including sad and scary moments. this makes me feel so safe. It's so calming to see something as familiar and beautiful as hogwarts in times of stress, sadness, anger, anything really.

I went to Universal Studios Orlando for the first time today. I cried seeing Diagon Ally and Hogwarts for the first time because I finally felt home. I’ve read and reread the books, watched and rewatched the movies countless times. I really felt like a first year student at Hogwarts, experiencing the wizarding world that I love so dearly. I’m still emotional from it and this video made everything feel in place.

Tbh when dumbledore said of course its happening inside your head, its not real. It got me knowing that our safe place is not real. Knowing that our comfort character is not real. And knowing that i will never gonna feel the safe and comfort again

Hogwarts was my home when I fell into a depression. It was my safe place. It gave my comfort and consoled me when I needed it the most. Whenever I felt most lonely and left alone, dived right into the wizarding world and I felt home. Whenever I was lost, I found a place between the pages and chapters of the story.
