What New Updates and Features do you want added to Hogwarts Legacy this summer?

I want an expansion that continues Sebastian’s story. Like helping him actually find a cure for Anne. Sebastian definitely deserves a happy ending.

My thoughts for what I'm hoping for in DLC: If they do a map expansion, it would be cool to add Diagon Alley, London, and maybe even the Ministry of Magic and have quests in those areas. Ministry of Magic could be it's own side quest, and London could totally have a system where you can get it trouble using magic around Muggles! I'd also like, if there's more side quests, a quest going through the process of becoming an Animagus!

Tri wizard tournament would be sick

I would love a Yule ball quest/storyline where you can go on a date with a character of choice

Get rid of the invisible forcefields. At least once your done with certain quests. I hate flying into them on the map. Make Lumos brighter. The obvious would be new spells, mounts, and gear. Personally, I wish they would do more with the merpeople or centaurs.

I wanna be able to tame a dragon for the vivarium

My wish is that there’s some sort of quest or maybe even storyline where you can become an animagus. This would be sick

Hopefully we get Ominis to open the chamber of secrets; the Patronus Charm; maybe some relationship quests; underwater quests with the merfolk or the centaurs maybe

More companion quests, less collectables, more options to choose between good&evil and actual consequences for being evil. More potions, imagine using a polyjuice potion for stealth.

I really want Companion mode and attend classes like an actual student also season change as an option

i want to be able to read every book in the library

Hogwarts Honour Code is a must, not to mention that Houses points should be more influent within the gameplay; more interactions with other students, more interactables like books in the library, Quidditch and Chess, more spells and more forms of casting, different variations for spells, wand and broom overhaul

The gaunt manor quest we were suppose to get is something I’m hoping for DLC wise ❤

When I heard they had cut of a good sized chunk of the map before the game was released I figured putting that and it's associated quests back in would be their first piece of DLC. As for what I would like to see would be the removal of that dull repetitive lockpicking minigame they turned Alohomora into. At the very least they can shut it off once you hit the third level of the spell. I would also like to see the character creator get an overhaul so I can make a unique looking character that looks as good as the professors and main villain characters do instead of looking like one of the generic background npcs running around.

Dude..screw photo mode. Give us what we want spells,quest quddich that's it. Triple threat

I hope that we get more broomsticks with added attributes like being able to turn faster or fly faster. And more beasts. I want to be able to have an aquarium with a grindylow or a kelpie

I’ll never understand why players want photo mode in games. I just don’t understand the desire.

Am I the only person that remembers the old ea harry potter quidditch game?

it would be nice to be able to sell back the potion ingredients, weapons, and wands from enemies. maybe get a vault in Gringotts for storage of items... different prices for beasts... and last but not least... get utility spells (ROR Spells, Knabsack, etc...) off the combat menu...

Even if it was just a photo mode I’d be happy, but a quidditch game mode would make me go rabid, in a good way.

I'd love to see a dlc with more mini games, repeatable beast rescue quests, more dynamic housing, more school years, maybe more maps to different magical schools with classes and quests...

I really hope that there would be an expanded map, just a little outside of Hogwarts map. I also hope that there is a little quidditch too, since the quidditch field isn't used much in the game from the the one run-through I had played.

I don't expect it but I do want a multiplayer option where we can play with friends and family. A small group co-op kind of thing. I would love to be able to play with my sister and maybe even my dad. I don't see it actually happening anytime soon especially since it would be very complicated to do so, but it would be really cool to have the option.

I really am hoping in the next game for some more in depth world building like they have all the tools from the books and pottermore to have thousands of wands and hundreds of spells which is asking for a lot but in short little things like wand cores and strengths making a difference in your magic or actually having to become a dark wizard to use the unforgivables unless there are some hp circumstances they already have students making themselves float uncontrollably im just looking for more of that with some form of interaction.

Personally, I'd like the Switch version to have some of the Easter eggs that the other versions seem to have. Minor thing, but I can't explore the bathroom stalls and the moth puzzle at 'The Old Fool' can't be completed - the picture doesn't exist. It is rather frustrating to have to load every building in Hogsmeade - I can understand loading a store/place where we can interact/sell/buy things, but to just walk into one of the homes and loot it, the loading screen comes on. I think this is why the 'Old Fool' moth puzzle broke. But new stuff would be nice, too.\

I would love NG+ or multiple endings for sure!

i would love to see more secret passageways in Hogwarts legacy!..... what we got is good but it just scemes like its dead! this is suppose to be a magic castle that should have loads of secret passageways!!!!!! where are the secret passage ways.....

I want to see quidditch added as well as a 4 player coop. With the coop feature added in, they could also introduce a dueling minigame where you can challenge your friends. And maybe we should see a chamber of secrets dlc? Even if we don’t actually fight the basilisk, it’d be great to investigate rumors of a giant snake roaming the castle around night and having us seal the chamber till the events of the movie.

It would be great if the train would stop at Hogsmeade Station and you could get in and travel to the new places they hopefully create.

I'd love to be able to go to diagon alley and go for a butter beer in the leaky cauldron. And go to gringotts, and back to azkaban too. I love this game, its fantastic! I play on switch and there's roumers of a new console, I just hope that they release this on the switch too, when they eventually do release new content and not just a new nintendo console.

I would like to be able to do more in Room of Requirement! Socializing would be cool. Have more useable tools there even. Maybe a mirror or a dresser to change your appearance, Practice Dummies for spell casting. It expands even when you beat the game but the things you can do with it does not

We need more Ominis story. There is so much to explore with his family and him as a character. Also can we please have actual classes and schedule we need to complete ? Like you can choose to be a studious or slacking student and it effects your opportunity to become a prefect etc.

I hope it will be the previously cuttted out map expansion in some form!

I would love some "life as a professor" missions and more gear decorations etc and pre-assembled rooms for the vivariums would be cool too

When I first played the game on day one, Hogwarts Legacy did have a small glitch that like new game plus. I was able use Lumos, revalio, and accio. But it didn't last long after the patched it!

I’m betting my money on a DLC reveal showcase at the next E3. Or maybe a State of Play event around/before E3. Anyhow the reveal will happen before or during the E3 not after. The release of the DLC will be somewhere in Oct/Nov 2024.

Immersive mode for those who enjoy such a thing, like sitting down on chairs or rocks, going actually to sleep and laying down ion bed, maybe even having to eat and drink or else your health is going to detiriorate.

The map has a lot of open space too

A huge new map to explore would be good really good maybe some extra bars to the ancient magic and the elder wand

I want them to put Dementors on some places im the map and beeing able to learn Expecto Patronum

I want there to be actual consequences in game. For example Uncle Sollow says he’ll report you if you use an Unforgivable but if you spam Avada Kedavra in front of literally anyone they don’t even react

They could do so much this would be like 2 or 3 games. DLCs would be nice and make a lot of sense

There's been a lot of work on SteamDB the last two weeks. Not sure if anyone knows if something is coming soon or what? Rather large list just an hour ago. Anyone know if there's an update coming soon? Don't think it would be the summer update, seems a bit early, but also haven't heard anything new aside from its coming in summer. Would be nice to be able to go to those places where our character mentions they shouldn’t be there alone and bring a friend to help fight.

This was the most fun I have had in a long time playing....I only have a switch so i had to wait until the switch version came out but i finished the game and am now in my 2nd character....My goal is to play a character in every house. I started with Huffle Puff so I could visit Azkaban..... I am not playing a character in the Slytherin House. I am taking my time and making sure to do all the quests. I stumbled upon the end quest and fight by accident but i beat it but it was difficult. This time I am stronger and have better spell casting. I cant wait for an upgrade

what would be real nice was a chest that you open with y that gives to 1,000,000 coins and 100,000 exp points.:)

I really think it’s cool that they worked so hard to release it on all platforms so I don’t mind waiting a bit for this

New Game Plus would be amazing, mainly because I want outfits from late game at the start

would be funny if they patched in a newspaper that comments about a sudden lack of goblins seen around feldcroft and other areas... where did they go? hmm. also spiders now an endangered beast....

NG+ might be nice, I have no hope for new content DLC at this point. Also would of liked to have access to the PS5 quest at the year mark, not sure why it will take an extra few months to get that available to the rest of us. They should of had it on release ready state for months now, so I am confused why they are withholding it for extra time, which is a bit disappointing.

Updates i want: (I’ve just started this game and im only 3 hours in lmao) 1. Dating and yule balls!!!! I’ve seen some people argue that old people play this game so it would be hella creepy to date a 15 year old. My argument against this is that it dating and attending the ball should be an optional thing, and you can attend the yule ball alone too. Also I’m pretty sure theres a bunch of games that include dating teens, that are played by old people. 2. Friendships and relationships with all the npcs! I hate how im only limited to seb and natty, i love them but ive seen so many cool npcs that i want my character to befriend. 3. More open world-y I haven’t been to hogsmeade yet but i hope theres an option to enter any shop you want and visit hogsmeade whenever you want. 4. Crime Trespassing, pranks, arson, bullying. Not essentially crimes crimes, but I really want the option of being able to sneak into other common rooms, and when you enter it would tell you you’re trespassing, then you’d have to try to idk do whatever you came for before the prefect notices you and kicks you out. 5. Some details and more spells The spells are sooo little and they’re missing hella iconic spells from the books and films, also it turns out that you cant be an animagus in the game!! 6. Creativity I really wish you could create your own spells and potions. 7. I absolutely hate the fact that you start out as a fifth year, can’t believe i missed out on the train and the trolley and just the experience as a whole.

I would love to see it go online there is so much that could be added to it tri wizard tournament that you can play with your friends , quidditch of course, broom races, duels with friends just a few off the top of my head I’d also love an addition where you can make your own gillyweed and explore the lake. Addition of more beasts to catch and more space to keep them in the room of requirement! I understand the hard work that would need to be put in by the company to create this but the game would re sell itself 10 fold if some of these features could be added! It’s a gorgeous game and would be a shame to see it simply fizzle away considering the scale of the Harry Potter franchise the fans are there were already waiting it wouldn’t fail! I appreciate the cost it would be for the company to produce this but I know the software is there GTA is an example

I think a new+ game would be perfect for hogwarts legacy but considering that 40% of the main story contains learning new spells in class, i’m not sure how they would make that a + feature

I don't know what the developers are planning for their game, but it takes a lot to get the players hooked on the game again. An NG+ alone is not enough or a photo mode... there could be something like mini-games in the form of duels or suddenly appearing events... and what would also be desirable would be more fantastic beasts

I am 100% on boar on the quidditch hype train, although i wouldnt mind if they waited with it until the next game where participating with my character in a quidditch season actually influences the overall story/ dynamics in the game

HL was probably the game I must enjoyed playing but I still think that there is so much more possibilities and better things to do, trials were super boring. I hope they create more amazing stuff in the future.

Combat in the game is too spam and FPS. They should get rid of automatic aim and basic cast, and leave just the actual spells and with the possibility of missing the targets if you don't aim right. I know they wouldn't do it in a patch, though

It seems like the Documentary has been soft cancelled due to the nature of how it’s completely disappeared as soon as it was announced to the public with no release date or delay announcements of any kind from avalanche studios, to me it smells of desperation to cover something up. What is it that WB has to hide? My guess is that Hogwarts Legacy was plagued by constant Studio Interference by Warner Bros that has been towards avalanche studios in order to evaluate their product scope & trying to strip it down to what we have today so that WB can milk this franchise with more live service Gotchya Games using the various stripped & or cut features from Hogwarts Legacy. During this games development documentary this blatant Studio Interference with the intent to repackage several portions of the game into a wave of new greedy Live Service scams & if they went ahead & released this Documentary all of WB Nefarious Intentions would have been put on full display which would most definitely have painted them a bad light.
